The college basketball slate for Thursday, Feb. 10 has NCAA Tournament title hopefuls Duke, Gonzaga and Purdue all in action tonight. As always, we will be breaking down all of the best CBB picks for DraftKings and FanDuel fantasy college basketball lineups tonight, and going over some of the best plays from each pricing range. CBB DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Fantasy Basketball
Studs
Keegan Murray ($9,600) — The premier stud on any slate he appears, Keegan Murray and the Iowa Hawkeyes find themselves as 3.5-point favorites over Maryland in a game with a 146.5-point total. Looking at the matchup, Maryland ranks 187th in defensive efficiency, setting up Murray to maximize his 23.6% usage rate. Murray accounts for a solid 22.6% shot rate and 22.2% rebound rate in Iowa’s offense. However, these numbers do come with concerns. Iowa subscribes to the moronic two-foul auto-benching policy, making Murray’s minutes volatile on a game-to-game basis. If he plays 39 minutes like Iowa’s most recent game, he is the best play on the slate. If he plays 29 and 31 like the two prior games, he is the most overrated player on the slate, so tread carefully.
Jaden Ivey ($8,200) — Another strong game environment, Purdue is a three-point favorite on the road against Michigan in a game with a 144-point total. Unlike Zach Edey and Trevion Williams, Purdue’s premier freshman Jaden Ivey does not come with minute concerns. Ivey has played 36, 37 and 38 minutes in Purdue’s last three games, maximizing an already strong 21.7% usage rate. He has contributed a 30% shot rate, 20% rebound rate and 30.4% assist rate in Purdue’s last three games. Michigan has taken a major step back this year, ranking 200th in defensive efficiency. With usage, matchup and game environment all working in Ivey’s favor, the freshman remains one of the top plays on the entire slate.

Azuolas Tubelis ($7,000) — One of the better game environments to target on the slate, Arizona is a 6.5-point favorite over Washington State in a game with a 143.5-point total. While Arizona plays extremely fast, they have recently widened their rotation. However, the two players with consistent minutes are Bennedict Mathurin and Azuolas Tubelis. Slowly ramping up after a mid-season injury, Tubelis finally reached 30 minutes in Arizona’s most recent game. Tubelis leads the team with a 20.4% usage rate, with upside across statistical categories. Even playing limited minutes in Arizona’s last three games, Tubelis has a 21.8% shot rate and 21.1% rebounding rate. Mathurin is more of a pure shooter, giving Tubelis a slightly better floor-ceiling combination. Tubelis’ elevated minutes also come at the expense of Christian Koloko, making Tubelis the top price-adjusted play in this offense.
Mid-Range
Julian Strawther ($6,400) — Leading the slate with a 93-point implied team total, Gonzaga is a 32-point favorite over Pacific in a game with a 154-point total. Gonzaga starters run the risk of limited minutes, making Drew Timme and Chet Holmgren difficult to pay up for. However, Julian Strawther plays similar minutes and brings a consistent 16.1% usage rate here. In Gonzaga’s last three games, Strawther has a 14.1% shot rate, 16% rebound rate and an 8.8% assist rate, giving him multiple ways to contribute to this enormous team total. Ultimately, any of the Gonzaga starters could blow up here, but Strawther brings that potential at a reduced price.
Marreon Jackson ($5,800) — Taking money towards the over, Arizona State enters this game as a 1.5-point underdog to Washington in a game with a 137-point total. Both teams play above average in terms of pace here, but the total remains lower due to offensive efficiency. Like a few other teams on this slate, Arizona State has not always played a consistent rotation. However, the offense lacks a primary ball-handler outside of Marreon Jackson. Jackson has now played 33, 40 and 21 minutes in Arizona State’s last three games. The 21-minute game remains a concern, but at least he has eclipsed 30 in each of his last two. On the year, Jackson boasts a 17.9% usage rate, which only continues to climb. Over the Sun Devil’s last three games, he has contributed an 18.6% shot rate, 11% rebound rate and 29.6% assist rate within the offense. Jackson remains an excellent mid-priced option.
Eli Brooks ($5,400) — On the other side of the Purdue game, Michigan has significantly reduced their rotation. One such player receiving nearly every minute is veteran Eli Brooks. Brooks has now played 37, 33 and 35 minutes in three straight games for Michigan. On the year, Brooks has a solid 14.8% usage rate, contributing a 17% shot rate, 9.5% rebound rate and 20.6% assist rate within the offense. He is priced between DeVante’ Jones and Caleb Houstan, but offers more usage than Houstan and more consistent minutes than Jones. Ultimately, all three are decent plays, but Brooks projects slightly better in his consistent role.
Value Plays
Eric Williams ($4,700) — Oregon enters this slate as an 8.5-point favorite over Stanford in a game with a 139-point total. Unlike last year, Oregon has extended its rotation to eight players this year. While Eric Williams comes off the bench as the team’s sixth man, he has still played 30, 24 and 26 minutes in Oregon’s last three games. In that span, he has contributed a 12% shot rate, 19.6% rebound rate and an 8.6% assist rate. Offering more consistency compared to some of the other value plays, Williams looks like a solid option in low-risk contests.
Jordan Bohannon ($4,400) — For those looking at cheaper attachments to Iowa’s 75-point implied team total, Jordan Bohannon has played the second-most consistent minutes behind Murray. Over Iowa’s last three games, Bohannon has put up 36, 33 and 30 minutes for the Hawkeyes. With his 16% usage rate, Bohannon plays primarily in the periphery behind his 18% usage rate over the last three games. However, Iowa continues to deal with an injury to Connor McCaffery, condensing the available minutes for this backcourt. While McCaffery will not ever function as the alpha in this offense, his consistent role in the periphery makes him a solid play in elevated minutes.
Qudus Wahab ($4,300) — On the other side of the Iowa game, Maryland plays a fairly condensed rotation among their top four players. Interestingly, this does not translate to Qudus Wahab, despite excellent efficiency. Wahab has played 20, 19 and 23 minutes in Maryland’s last three games, accounting for a 12.8% shot rate and 20.7% rebound rate. Even at 20 minutes, Wahab has a solid price-adjusted projection. If he can find some extra minutes, he becomes one of the best plays on the slate against Iowa’s 171st ranked interior defense, making Wahab a solid play in GPPs.
