Week 8 PrizePicks CFB Props | Saturday, Oct. 23
Henry Colombi — Over 252.5 Yards Passing
Kansas State is giving up over 8 yards per passing attempt and 262.6 yards per game. Colombi hit the over in two of three starts, and the other one was a complete blowout against Kansas. On the year he has an aDOT of 10.9 and has attempted 34, 41 and 20 passes. This will also be another game where Erik Ezukanma will be given a full workload and should be fully back from his injury. This game has a 60.5-point over/under and a 1-point spread, which favors this passing prop.
Dorian Thompson-Robinson — Over 219.5 Yards Passing
UCLA takes on Oregon this weekend; this game is another 1-point spread in favor of UCLA, with a 60.5 point over/under. Thompson-Robinson has comfortably gone over 219 yards passing in four of seven games he has played this season, and in the three games he has not run for over 240 yards as a team. Oregon has been one of the country’s better run defenses, giving up just 3.4 yards per carry, but where they have struggled has been through the air, giving up over 298 yards a game. Thompson-Robinson will need to utilize his arm to open up the UCLA run game, which leads to a comfortable passing total of around 240.
Matt Corral — Under 71.5 Yards Rushing
Corral gets utilized as a runner for Ole Miss, but with how the injury news has been, he is a stay-away. Another reason for it is this past weekend LSU held running quarterbacks Emory Jones and Anthony Richardson to 53 total yards rushing combined on 17 attempts. Corral has also only hit this mark twice this season, and they have come from these past two weekends.
Tyrion Davis-Price — Over 89.5 Yards Rushing
In the past two games for LSU, Davis-Price has been the clear-cut go-to player at the running back position, and he has had 147 and 287 yards rushing the last two games. This Ole Miss defense has not fared well against SEC rushing attacks, giving up at least 100 yards to one player in three straight games. LSU is a 7.5-point underdog on the road, but this game will not get out of hand early enough for Davis-Price not to receive the amount of workload he has in the last two weeks.
Erik Ezukanma — Over 81.5 Yards Receiving
For Colombi to get to his prop, Ezukanma should be a big part in that and hit his over of 81.5 yards receiving. This year Ezukanma has dealt with some injuries that have limited him in some games, but he has been the go-to guy in the passing attack. In the first two games of the season, he managed to get over 140 yards receiving, and those are the only two games in which he ran routes on 80% of plays.
