It’s Week 9 and I’m back with my NFL DFS Fantasy Football Likes and Dislikes for this weeks main slate. Players I like this week are the LOCKS that I think will exceed daily fantasy statistical benchmarks. FADES are the players I don’t like that fall short of expectations. Pretty simple. This won’t be about obvious names, it’s greater than that. We’ll take an inside look that’s deeper than just the name and projection. Let’s dive into some NFL DFS Picks on DraftKings, FanDuel, Yahoo, and FantasyDraft.

Week 9 NFL DFS LOCKS
Phillip Lindsay $5,300 Draftkings, $6,200 FanduelÂ
The Cleveland Browns own the 29th-ranked rush defense and have allowed an average of 143.3 yards on the ground. Lindsay has shown flashes of what we saw in his rookie campaign last year but his production has been hindered because of the carries being split between him and Royce Freeman. However, with an inexperienced quarterback under center, we could see the running game benefit greatly here. Lindsay has explosive play ability, is involved in the passing game, and has a price point along with great matchup that could help easily hit his value. Even with a split backfield, Linsday has averaged three catches and 13.5 carries per game. With little ownership, Lindsay could provide a cheap contrarian option.
Chris Godwin $7,300 Draftkings, $8,200 Fanduel
The Seahawks secondary has struggled this year against slot wide receivers. Godwin leads the NFL in touchdown receptions (six) and second in targets (87). The Buccaneers wideout will face a Seattle defense that’s giving up 273.3 yards per game through the air that ranks fifth worst in the NFL. Seattle has been susceptible to big yardage plays and this should benefit Godwin with his 256 yards after catch, which ranks third most in the league.
D.J. Moore $4,800 Draftkings, $5,400 Fanduel
Moore will face a Titans secondary that has surrendered the second most fantasy points (19.5), the most yards (87.5) per game, and most touchdowns (three) to number one wide receivers over the last four games. He is underpriced for the volume he’s receiving and is projected to be sub seven percent owned.Â
Week 9 NFL DFS FADES
Nick Chubb $7,300 Draftkings, $8,100 Fanduel
He fumbled twice last game but that didn’t stop the Browns from continuing to trust their identity of the offense. Chubb reached the 20 carry mark again and racked up 131 yards against the Patriots best league rushing defense. However, this week could be trouble heading into Denver. The Broncos defense has been strong throughout most of the season. This unit ranks eight in scoring defense (18.9 points per game) and fourth in the NFL in total defense at 304.5 yards per game. Denver has not allowed a single rushing touchdown since week 4 and has allowed one single 100 yard rusher all season. With how badly Baker Mayfield has performed this season, I can see the Broncos stacking the box and forcing Mayfield to make plays with his arm. With Chubb’s ownership being so high, fading a bad matchup might not be the worst situation here.
