Josh Reddick ($3,600 DK/$2,700 FD)

Reddick will get a phenomenal matchup against RHP Doug Fister tonight. Fister, while not a world-beater against either hand, struggles mightily with lefty bats, allowing 48% hard-contact on the year while striking them out at an under 16% clip. Reddick’s numbers don’t look spectacular against righties this season, but he should be able to pump them up against Fister who is one of the worst pitchers in the league against lefties.

Franchy Cordero ($3,800 DK/$3,400 FD)

If Michael Wacha is going to be a chalk SP option tonight, I’m going to take the other side of it and target against him with some power. Cordero is an “all or nothing” hitter, as he’s striking out against right-handed pitching at a near 35% rate, but when he makes contact, it usually goes a long way. Versus righties this year, he’s rocking 44.9% hard-contact and a .224 ISO, and Wacha is giving up near 39% hard-contact against lefties. In GPPs, he will have minuscule ownership, but I love Cordero as a leverage play against a chalky pitcher tonight.

Max Kepler ($3,500 DK/$2,600 FD)

Kepler provides some nice value on both sites tonight against Nick Tropeano who is coming off the DL. The Twins outfielder looks much improved this season, striking out under 17% of the time against righties with a .209 ISO and a .343 OBP. The weather in LA is (not surprisingly) good for hitters tonight with a little bit of wind bl0wing out to center and Tropeano is not a pitcher you should be scared to target against, so Kepler’s cheap pricetag is very attractive to me.
