FanDuel MLB DFS cheatsheet for 9/4/20, picks like George Springer based on projections and ownership from the world's No. 1 DFS player.

These spotlight stack picks come directly from the lineups of the #1 player in DFS, Awesemo. Follow him on Twitter for more.

HOU (vs. BAL)

The Astros will likely be the most popular bats of the night, but this is about as good of a matchup as you can ask for. Chris Tillman was one of the worst pitchers in baseball last year, allowing the most hard-contact (40.2%) to right-handed batters of any pitcher on the slate, and we know the Astros are stacked with righty power. Tillman also posted a 10.8% K-rate and 2.41 WHIP against lefties, so guys like Reddick, Gonzalez, McCann and Fisher are all in play here at the bottom of the lineup. The hardest part of this stack may be trying to narrow down the five (four on FD) hitters you want to roll out.

CLE (@LAA)

The Indians will be taking on JC Ramirez and the Angels in LA tonight, and this is a matchup that the Cleveland lefties should win. Ramirez had a very hard time with lefties last year, posting a K-rate under 17%, a 5.05 xFIP, and 44.8% hard-contact. Against a deep team like the Indians with guys like Jose Ramirez, Jason Kipnis, Francisco Lindor, and Yonder Alonso who all had ISOs over .230 against righties last year, this is a possible blow-up spot for JC Ramirez in his first start of the season.

TOR (vs. CHW)

The Blue Jays have a 5.4 implied total against Reynaldo Lopez and the White Sox at home tonight, and this stack will likely come at much lower ownership than the Astros in tournaments despite only being .3 runs behind them. Lopez posted a 6.59 xFIP last year against lefties, and there are five players that come up as “A” DK values tonight in the rankings (Donaldson, Travis, Smoak, Granderson, and Grichuk). Making contact shouldn’t be an issue here against Lopez, and when the Blue Jays do, they have a lot of guys that can hit for extra bases.
