Main-Slate Picks
Washington Nationals at RHP Zack Godley – 5.3 implied runs
Since the beginning of last season, Godley has been bad. Against the last 259 opposite-handed hitters, he is allowing a .210 ISO with a 1.40 HR/9. The story is pretty much the same against righties with a .187 ISO and a 1.64 HR/9 on a whopping 39.1 hard hit rate. He has allowed five home runs with them all coming in two starts. Over his last two starts, he has not allowed any long balls, but he has issued six free passes in 6.2 innings.
Trea Turner is a phenomenal option today, and he has an excellent power/speed combination at the top of the Nationals order. Juan Soto continues to roll with a .276 ISO and astounding 18.0% walk rate in his 869 career plate appearances against opposite-handed hurlers. Gamers have been staying away from Asdrubal Cabrera, and they certainly will today at his $4,500 price tag on DraftKings and $19 on Yahoo. Keep in mind that he is a switch-hitter who does his best work swinging the stick from the left-side of the plate.
We can utilize Adam Eaton at a discount on DraftKings, and then the enigmatic Eric Thames is cheap across the board. This is also a good time to employ Howie Kendrick, who is locked in, going 13-for-38 in his last 10 games with a .342/.372/.437 triple slash line.

Afternoon-Slate Picks
Milwaukee Brewers vs. LHP Steven Brault – 5.3 implied runs
Yesterday we recommended the Brewers against a righty, and today we are going back to the well against Brault. While he does not allow a ton of power, the does issue a lot of walks with mediocre strikeout numbers. Ryan Braun was a late scratch Saturday night with back tightness, but if he is in the lineup on Sunday, he will be serving as the designated hitter and likely leading off. Jedd Gyorko and Avisail Garcia are solid against lefties and they have decent pop along with plate discipline. Christian Yelich is always in play, as is Keston Hiura.
Late-Slate Picks
Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim vs. RHP Justin Dunn – 5.8 implied runs
This will be the third time that the Halos have seen Dunn. The results have not been pretty, as he lasted only seven combined innings allowing seven walks and three home runs for a 6.43 ERA and a 1.57 WHIP. Over his last 14 innings, he has allowed just two home runs and five walks, so we are seeing some on-the-job improvements.
Obviously the trio to target is Mike Trout, Anthony Rendon and Shohei Ohtani. Rookie Jo Adell knocked his first two career home runs last night, and he is relatively cheap on all sites. Pivot from Justin Upton to Brian Goodwin for differentiation assuming both are in the lineup. Though he is not a household name, David Fletcher is creating 36% more runs than the average player, and he will be at the top of the lineup.
