UFC DFS Picks for DraftKings + FanDuel | UFC Fight Night | Kattar vs. Ige

Hello, UFC fans. This weekend, we have a 12-card in Abu Dhabi, including a main event between Calvin Kattar vs. Dan Ige. The main GPP has $100,000 going to first place with a total of $500.000 being paid out. Here I will offer the fighters I feel have the most upside and value. Let’s dig into some UFC DFS picks and analysis.

Core Picks

Calvin Kattar | DraftKings: $9,100, FanDuel: $22

Kattar is a power striker, and I feel he will have the advantage over Ige if this fight stays standing. That said, I see Dan Ige having the clear advantage if this fight hits the mat as he is the stronger grappler and wrestler. I foresee this fight going the distance, although I still think it has good upside for DFS purposes due to the high volume we should see. Kattar also happens to be Awesemo’s highest projected fighter on the slate with 73% win odds.

Abdul Razak Alhassan | DraftKings: $9,200, FanDuel: $18

Alhassan will be making his first octagon appearance in 22 months due to some legal issues in 2018. He is a scary striker with one-punch knockout power, but the only concern I see is having the extended lay-off from the cage. This is a risky core play, but I had to list it due to the potential for a knockout in the first round. Awesemo’s MMA DFS projections have Alhassan as the third-highest projected fighter on the slate with a 65 % chance for a knockout.

Jack Shore | DraftKings: $9,400, FanDuel: $20

Shore is a strong grappler. His wrestling is solid, and if he comes in with a heavy ground game, I think he will have a dominant performance. I feel this will be a strong play in cash games and large-field tournaments due to the high scoring takedowns and advances can provide. Awesemo has Shore as the second-highest projected fighter on the slate with 85% win odds.

Mid-Priced Picks

Jared Gordon | DraftKings: $8,300, FanDuel: $16

This should be an exciting fight to watch with the high pace both fighters display. Gordon should have an advantage on the feet, but Chris Fishgold will have the edge if this fight hits the mat. Fishgold possess power in his hands, which could send Gordon to the mat because Gordon has displayed a weak chin in previous fights. Awesemo’s projections has Gordon as the sixth-highest projected fighter on the slate with 57% win odds.

Ricardo Ramos | DraftKings: $8,300, FanDuel: $16

Ramos is a technical striker, although his striking at times can be low volume. His grappling is solid, and this will be where he has the edge. Ramos is a strong play for his takedown upside. I foresee him getting five or more takedowns plus several advances in this fight. Awesemo’s projections give him at 58% win odds.

Value Picks

Dan Ige | DraftKings: $7,100, FanDuel: $18

This is more of a value pick for DraftKings because there are much better options in the price range on FanDuel. On FanDuel, if I were looking in this price range, my pick would be Khamzat Chiamaev. This pick is based on if Ige can get to Kattar in the early rounds, whereas if this were to happen, you could have a $7,100 fighter getting you a first- or second-round submission. Awesemo’s MMA DFS Top fighter Tool gives Ige 21% chance of scoring 100 fantasy points.
