We have one more day until the LCK rejoins the fun, but this time the LPL closes out with a juicy matchup between two playoff teams. I’m breaking down the slate and combing through the teams to find my favorite LoL DFS picks.

Series 1: JD Gaming (JDG) vs. eStar (ES)
Series 2: FunPlus Phoenix (FPX) vs. LGD Gaming (LGD)
LPL Starting Lineups
Ten games is the current win streak for JDG this split, and my guess is will see them take it to 11 here in what should be a relatively harmless 2-0. One peculiar tidbit about JDG is that they only average a +321 gold differential at 15 minutes, which not only causes me a smidgen of concern but also demonstrates that they’re really good after that. Take your pick of options here. LvMao is my favorite support option tonight and could improve on his 17 games of at least 10 assists.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, irma wasn’t the immediate fix that ES wanted or needed to turn around their split. Regardless of who starts in the mid lane or ADC position, ES would be hard-pressed to contend with one of the top teams in the LPL. There’s not really a lane I look at for ES that outclasses the JDG counterpart, but Wei has been largely solid throughout the split. If he gets going, ES could provide some pushback.
Closing out the LPL slate, we get a banger as FPX takes on LGD. Both teams are fighting for playoff positioning, but FPX currently occupies the final playoff spot in the LPL. FPX has a nearly even kills and deaths per game average with 12.6 kills and 12.5 deaths per game, both of which are almost right in the middle for the LPL. This series has 2-1 written all over it, and while I like the FPX roster better than the LGD one, they’ve been less consistent than I’d like from every perspective. Doinb has the best lane assignment tonight, and he’s someone I’ll target in my FPX stacks.
LGD could basically lock up a playoff berth with a win here, and while it won’t be an easy series, they’re more than capable of pulling it off. Coming in as the stronger early-game team, LGD needs to push the early game in their favor to set themselves up for their carries to clean up late-game team fights. If Peanut is able to find an abusable lane matchup for LGD, not only should that assist LGD, but it could make him an enticing player for this series.
ADC – LokeN. JDG should treat us to a nice 2-0 series to open the slate, and LokeN has the highest kill participation on the team with the second-most kills in the LPL.

Top – Langx. Top lane tonight is basically Zoom and the others. Gimgoon is doing a massive amount of his team’s damage but also has a -1241 gold differential at 15 minutes. Peanut could easily look to get Langx going here.
