LoL DFS Picks: League of Legends EU Masters DraftKings Quick Hits | Tuesday, 4/20

Jeremy Schritt breaks down the EU Masters Tournament and gives his favorite LoL DFS Picks and Projections for DraftKings lineups Tuesday 4/20

With the next few days of slates being a completion of individual groups, LoL DFS might be a little bit different as it’s all about accumulating points over three games instead of one. I’ll be breaking down each team in order of how I believe they’ll end up ranking in their respective groups, as well as the top DraftKings LoL DFS picks for the three games on the EU Masters slate for Tuesday, April 20.

LoL DFS Picks: DraftKings EU Masters Quick Hits

Misfits Premier

As the most expensive team on the slate, MSFP appears to be in the best position to at the very least advance out of this group which features three teams sitting at 2-1. Outside of throwing a 6000+ gold lead at 15 minutes to SSU, MSFP comfortably took the other two games. There should not be much of a challenge from any of the teams here, and anything other than a 2-0 likely involves another big throw from MSFP. Sertuss is having a solid EU Masters up to this point, and he stands out as one of my favorite pieces from a MSFP chock full of them.

AGO Rogue

When all is said and done, the battle for the second seed in the group will come down to RGO and SSU. My preference is RGO, even if they were the team treading water against G2AR before stepping on the gas and slamming the door on them. RGO has the unfortunate task of taking on MSFP to open the day, likely making their second game against SSU the most important of their tournament. Lucker is once again balling out, and RGO really needs to not only get him ahead, but keep him alive in teamfights where he’s not only pumping out almost 36% of the teams damage, he also carries a team best 86.3% kill participation (KP) which is insane.

SSU is the cheapest 2-1 team on this LoL DFS making them likely appealing options for individuals envisioning a similar outlook for this set of games. Gamers should be more pessimistic on this squad which only saw a significant gold lead at 15 minutes against G2AR, whereas they managed to come back from a huge gold deficit against MSFP. Overall, if ownership swells too much here as the cheapest 2-1 team, it is better to be under the field in a spot where having a losing record in these three games feels like a more likely result than not. Spooky has been very active throughout the first set of games, and if he keeps it up, he makes for an alluring LoL DFS option.

G2 Arctic

If they hadn’t defeated Fnatic Rising to make it to the main event, G2AR would’ve had a massive crevasse beginning from the LVP Superliga playoffs which was a sweep defeat to BTS. Realistically there are no positive metrics to recommend this team going forward as they’re losing heavy early, not getting kills, and dying a lot. Perhaps there will be some lineups where taking a shot on a team that needs to win out will look good, but that’s only banking on an upswing.

Favorite DraftKings Picks

ADC-Woolite. Even though the KP is just solid, Woolite has shown a consistent level of play in the first set of games, without having any big pop off moments up to this point. Being on a team that should 3-0 makes him all the more likeable for LoL DFS as well.

JNG-Lurox. TOP/JNG really hasn’t been up to snuff for RGO up to this point. Perhaps this ends up being some more overlooked, but it won’t take a ton of improvement from him to become an attractive option at the JNG position on this LoL DFS slate.

Favorite Contrarian DraftKings Pick

G2AR. SSU will probably not be entirely unpopular, although naturally they’re a safer option to roster instead of anybody from G2AR, but there are worlds out there where G2AR comes out hot, and having just a little bit is an intriguing option.
