DraftKings LoL DFS Picks EU Masters League of Legends preview and projections for Friday April 16 based on Awesemo's expert tools

One last group to polish off the group stages of the EU Masters, and I’m giving the quick rundown of the teams in the group, mixing in some of my favorite LoL DFS picks for this DraftKings slate.

LoL DFS Picks: DraftKings EU Masters Quick Hits

KC

After three strong performances in their first set of games, KC is well on track to continue their success here. As possibly the strongest team in the tournament, or at least in contention, KC should flex their early game, high kill, solid assist per kill prowess, please LoL DFS owners who play them. Adam’s team high 75.8% kill participation (KP) is quite strong, and while he did carry the lowest KP during their regular season, everyone was within six percentage points which isn’t too drastic.

BTXL

For LoL DFS purposes, BTXL was largely a wasteland in their first three games, averaging 12.3 kills, while only putting up a poultry 1.7 assists per kill. Only Markoon has a KP over 60%, with his shimmering 86.9% KP, but the flip side is Orome, Hatrixx, and Deadly are all below 46.5%. Talent wise, I still believe in this squad enough to believe they’ll contend for advancement, nonetheless it’ll be very difficult if they come out flat against S04E. Deadly will need to be involved, and with his team best 30.3% kill share, there are decent optics should BTXL be more successful this round robin.

S04E

Nuclearint will be the starting mid laner for S04 in the upcoming LEC summer split, making these potentially his last few games this year on the academy roster. If this is his sendoff tournament, he’s performing quite well, he’s involved, he tends to be up at 15 minutes, and overall not the reason S04E is 1-2. S04E really needs Kynetic and Tolerant to step up, and if they do, they’ll likely be in a much better spot to advance out of a congested group.

BTS

BTS is at least relatively consistently down gold at 15 minutes in this tournament as opposed to being more up and down in their regional regular season. Their lone win was a 43 minute victory over S04E which was pretty up and down until they won a decisive late game fight and coasted from there. I’m not in a rush to roster BTS in LoL DFS, as I view them likely finishing at the bottom of the table, but if I do take shots, LeBron ranks at the top.

Favorite DraftKings Pick

ADC – xMatty. Kind of surprisingly, xMatty hasn’t been particularly exciting for LoL DFS through his first three games. Hopefully people also see that and keep ownership down even a little bit, but the ADC for the team most likely to go 3-0 is always going to be a solid option.

Favorite Contrarian DraftKings Pick

MID – Nuclearint. Strictly from a narrative standpoint, Nuclearint can parlay a successful EU Masters into positive momentum for the LEC Summer Split. It doesn’t hurt that he’s playing well already, and if S04E advances, he’s likely to be a good LoL DFS option.
