DRX (DRX) vs. T1 (T1)

KT Rolster (KT) vs. Fredit Brion (BRO)

LoL DFS Picks: DraftKings LCK Slate Breakdown

DRX

The range of outcomes in any DRX series is pretty high. They’re capable of beating, or challenging most teams, however one thing still eludes them this LCK spring split, and that is a series sweep that they win. They’ve been swept twice, but every other series went the distance, making their 5-3 series record a little weird seeing as they’ve only won 50% of their total games played. DRX is difficult to fully trust in this spot, however T1 is also capable of weird gameplay fluctuations, so I’m not against DRX tonight in the LoL DFS sphere. Pyosik is their best player and presents the best opening for DRX to win this series.

T1

T1 opened their season with three very difficult series, while their last five series were against the teams below them in the standings. It’s going to be interesting to see how they stack up against a team close to them in standings here, nonetheless they’re the more talented team and really should find a win here. I’ll caution against using data from their last series against BRO as BRO was playing without a mid laner so those games were borderline 4v5s. Even though there might be sub risk here, as are most T1 players, Gumayusi is capable of putting up slate breaking numbers even if he might not need to on a two game LCK slate.

KT ROLSTER

I don’t want to overreact to KT’s performance in their game win over DWG, so I’ll play a little bit of devil’s advocate instead. DWG played about as poorly as they could, and KT still had troubles getting that win, oh and they probably also should’ve won all three of those games but dropped the last two. Fortunately for KT, BRO isn’t exactly DWG, although funny enough they are still the only team to beat DWG. Naturally this spot is a positive one for LoL DFS purposes, and even though this is far from a slam dunk, I’ll be playing them a fair amount tonight. Doran once again sits at the top of my list of players for KT as he can work any lane, while also being involved a fair amount for a top laner.

FREDIT BRION

I’m not sure what goodies the break brought for BRO, but they didn’t buckle in their 2-0 series win over LSB. Honestly I don’t believe the talent difference between KT and LSB is that noticeable, making BRO someone firmly in play if they’re able to maintain their form. UmTi was the player in the LSB series who impressed me the most, and with KT seemingly going with a new JNG, UmTi finding an advantage there sets BRO up nicely this series. Lava is in a decent spot against presumably an inconsistent Ucal, setting him up in a decent LoL DFS spot.

Favorite LoL DFS Pick

ADC-Gumayusi. Presuming he starts, he presents an intriguing LoL DFS option as a player with a monster ceiling. T1 needs wins, and if he doesn’t start, Teddy is just fine to slot in.

Favorite Contrarian LoL DFS Pick

JNG-Umti. There’s a little bit of starting uncertainty here as BRO is in the second LCK series of the night, however after the performance against LSB it makes no sense to switch any players.
