FunPlus Phoenix (FPX) vs. WE (WE)

Anyone’s Legend (AL) vs. Edward Gaming (EDG)

FUNPLUS PHOENIX

Whether or not Care joining the starting lineup is the change FPX needed is still yet to be seen, however a 2-1 victory over BLG isn’t a bad start. FPX is in a good spot to carry that momentum as WE are a largely disorganized squad with nothing to play for the split, except playing the role of spoiler. Lwx remains one of the better LoL DFS options from FPX, as the ADC sports a solid 70.6% kill participation.

WE

Even though WE lost 0-2 last time out, their level of competitiveness when beishang was brought back in for game two was pretty solid. Figuring out how to win is something WE hasn’t figured out yet, but FPX lost to TT, and Care isn’t exactly a known quantity yet, which makes taking chances on a veteran in xiye worth considering.

ANYONE’S LEGEND

AL is not a bad team even if their record is only 4-8, and they still do have slim playoff chances which could improve by upsetting a slumping EDG. Last time out they beat IG 2-0, and while game two had more to do with IG making mistakes, game one was a thorough performance. Betty versus Viper sounds one sided on paper, however both ADC’s are their team’s best performers, as well as great LoL DFS performers in victories.

EDWARD GAMING

EDG are in a bit of a slump, however all of their recent losses are against legitimate teams, and a loss here would be the outlier. Scout is a player that while not performing poorly, hasn’t stood out as much in recent series, and if Jiejie works towards getting his solo laners ahead, both could be exciting LoL DFS picks on this LPL slate as possibly slightly less ownership than they otherwise would’ve been coming off a win.
