With LoL DFS nearing full throttle, both the LPL and LCK are throwing out largely new teams to take a look at, and tonight could provide some fun series. We will be going over some of the best LoL DFS picks today for DraftKings and FanDuel lineups
LoL DFS Picks: DraftKings LPL + LCK Slate Breakdown
ThunderTalk Gaming (TT) vs. Edward Gaming (EDG)
Ultra Prime (UP) vs. Top Esports (TES)
LNG Esports (LNG) vs. Rare Atom (RA)
Nongshim RedForce (NS) vs. Liiv Sandbox (LSB)
Kwangdong Freecs (KF) vs. KT Rolster (KT)
One of the easier to predict matches, even in a world of higher unpredictability, kicks off this LoL DFS slate as TT takes on EDG. Despite small flashes against IG and OMG, TT are massive underdogs, and only the bravest souls should consider rostering anyone on this squad.
After an overwhelming opening series win against JDG, EDG finds themselves in an even easier position to pick up another 2-0 series win. Pricing will make it difficult to get to EDG tonight, but it is also possible that it keeps ownership down even with Xiaoxiang starting instead of Flandre on what is easily the biggest favorite to date in 2022
Early season losses tend to cause overreactions, especially with a team that has some solid talent in NS. Performances like those in games two and three against a similarly projected HLE squad could pose more problems, but this is a great get right spot for NS, with Dread offering up some solid LoL DFS potential.
Opening the LCK split with a 2-0 upset win over DRX, LSB showed a ton of determination, and solid play. Despite the win it is still difficult to envision a ton of success for LSB this split, with more firm goals likely to be placed in summer, nonetheless performances similar to their first series could pose problems for teams like NS, making rookies like Envyy borderline LoL DFS plays.
Despite being swept by LNG to open the series, UP certainly made it difficult, and could be worth a look in LoL DFS if TES comes out flat again. H4cker needs to provide an edge for UP against Tian and company, making him a jungler to sprinkle in on tonight’s slate.

Coming off a Demacia Cup win, it was expected that TES largely had their kinks ironed out, but that was not the case as they went down to RA to open their split. TES gets another similar level team tonight, and it is still a very winnable series, nonetheless it will be interesting to see if LoL DFS are a bit jaded, which might make JackeyLove go a bit overlooked.
Not many teams are going to challenge T1 throughout the year, so an opening series 0-2 is not fully indicative of the perceived talent level of KF. Getting on the right path is important here, as these are the types of series KG is expected to win, and FATE is someone to keep an eye out on, as Aria appears to need more time settling into a new league in the LCK.
Time may be the thing this iteration of KT needs most, as even though they got swept by DK to open their split, game one was a tight contest which is promising. Talent wise KT has the tools to compete with most LCK teams, including KF, and getting a win here could prop Aiming into LoL DFS relevance on this slate.
Despite getting the expected sweep of UP in their first series, LNG has clear kinks to work out. Doinb does not yet seem to be fully integrated with his team, and LvMao looks like a liability frequently, nonetheless LNG’s talent remains high, and they are in another good spot to pick up a victory over a surprising RA squad.
Weeks one and two tend to produce some big upsets, as RA demonstrated in their opening sweep of Demacia Cup winners TES. RA were able to take advantage of TES mistakes, and with LNG appearing to not be fully gelled yet, the door is open for RA to sneak up on yet another team projected to finish near the top tonight with iBoy as someone to keep an eye out on for LoL DFS purposes.
Favorite Pick Tonight
JNG – Jiejie. The Jungle position is quite strong tonight, but EDG has a prime matchup against TT, and the only question is whether or not TT will just lie down like they did in the IG series.
Favorite Contrarian Pick Tonight
ADC – Aiming. It is hard to believe Aiming is still so young despite having played professionally for a few years, and tonight he is presented with a tough, but winnable series against KF.
