Two LCK series where the narrative is similar for both of them. One big favorite for each of the series, alongside one LCK team incapable of making playoffs tagging along, looking to play spoiler. The League of Legends DFS picks appear to be pretty straightforward tonight, but anything can happen, as shown with KT beating LSB last night. Friday’s LoL DFS picks and breakdown for DraftKings lineups should help get you started.
Gen.G (GEN) vs. Fredit Brion (BRO)
DRX (DRX) vs. Nongshim RedForce (NS)
LoL Esports DFS Picks: DraftKings LCK Slate Breakdown
There are worse times to be in a slump than at the end of the regular season, like in playoffs perhaps, but tonight offers GEN an opportunity to get the ship back on track with a series against BRO. Struggling, or not getting a victory here would be incredibly foreboding for any potential playoff run, but they are the stronger team, and offer a solid LoL DFS outlook, especially on a two game LCK only slate. Ruler is not having as much of an impact that a player of his caliber should, but with BRO likely providing GEN some reprieve, he should be a great option tonight.
Even without anything to tangibly play for, BRO likely has no issues playing spoilers, which honestly has suited them throughout this entire year. This is perhaps the most opportune time to face GEN, as they’re not in good form, and while lanes are having issues, the collective of GEN are just overall not crisp. UmTi is someone to consider for LoL DFS, although with teams not in the playoff picture, sub risk definitely is a bit higher, but should be starting again, he leads BRO in kill participation (KP), which keeps the door open to viability on a two-game slate.

The real kick in the pants for DRX is that this week is the last week for this DRX roster in 2021. DRX is a more competitive team overall since the changes, but it was too little too late and only offered the squad a slight bump in overall productivity. In an unsurprising turn of events, DRX will have success tonight if Pyosik gets going, and even though he still has another year under contract with DRX, there is always a chance his situation changes for 2022.
Losing to AF is not highly problematic on its own, but how they lost paints a really ugly picture for NS. Getting swept, alongside neither game being close are bad looks for a team battling out for the top spot in the LCK. Fortunately tonight provides a much simpler task in the form of DRX, and in a series that shouldn’t be terribly competitive, deokdam is someone to look at for LoL DFS purposes tonight.
ADC – Ruler. Low key Ruler has not been terribly consistent recently, but tonight offers him an opportunity to find some form before playoffs. With better seeding still to play for, GEN has every reason to win, while potentially offering good LoL DFS upside.
Favorite Contrarian Pick
ADC – Taeyoon. As the team most likely to be wildly unpopular tonight, largely for good reasons, DRX has some outs, and while Pyosik may facilitate them, Taeyoon could end up being a bigger factor later in the game. Taking shots on DRX is a risk, but one that merits a little bit of consideration tonight on a slate with two big favorites.
