Week 11 Start ‘Em Sit ‘Em Wide Receivers: Jaylen Waddle & Hunter Renfrow

Looking towards Week 11 of the NFL fantasy football season, we will examine all of the matchups and discern the positive or negative impact that a given matchup will have on the wide receivers. Below are the best fantasy football start ’em/sit ’em options for Week 11 NFL matchups.

Week 11 Fantasy Football Start ‘Em Sit ‘Em: Wide Receivers

Must Start: Jaylen Waddle — Dolphins at Jets

Waddle has been a target monster this season, accumulating 85 in the first 10 games of the season. Last week against the Ravens he had four receptions on six targets for 61 yards. This week the Dolphins face the Jets, who rank dead last in pass DVOA. The Dolphins will also be without Will Fuller and DeVante Parker in this game, so Waddle should see a large target share again.

Must Start: Hunter Renfrow — Raiders vs. Bengals

Renfrow is atop the pecking order of wide receivers on the Raiders. Last week against the Chiefs he had seven receptions on nine targets for 46 yards and a touchdown. He is currently riding hot, as he scored a touchdown once in the last two games. This trend could continue this week, as there is potential for a back-and-forth game against the Bengals.

Must Start: Jarvis Landry — Browns vs. Lions

Landry has been a big disappointment all year long. Aside from a strong performance in Week 1 against the Chiefs, he has failed to eclipse 10 half-PPR points. Last week in a poor showing against the Patriots he had four receptions on five targets for 26 yards. If there was ever a time for a get-right game for Landry, it would be against the Lions, who rank 28th in pass DVOA. Without Odell Beckham Jr., there is not much competition going forward.

Must Sit: Mike Williams — Chargers vs. Steelers

Over the last four weeks, Williams has done nothing but disappoint, failing to score over 7 half-PPR points in all of those games. He had just 10 receptions on 21 targets for 136 yards in that stretch, and there are no signs of turning things around. While the Chargers are still a great offense, it is clear that Keenan Allen is the only startable wide receiver on the team.

Must Sit: Brandon Aiyuk — 49ers at Jaguars

Aiyuk has been one of the most frustrating fantasy football players all season. It seemed as though he finally escaped the metaphorical doghouse in Week 8 against the Bears, but based on last week’s matchup against the Rams, he may have faded back into fantasy irrelevancy. Until Aiyuk shows more consistency, he should not be started.

Must Sit: Kenny Golladay — Giants at Buccaneers

Golladay appears to be good to go this week, as he is not on the injury report. In Week 9 against the Raiders he had two receptions on three targets for 28 yards. The issue with Golladay this year does not have much to do with him, but with the amount of usage he sees weekly. With the emergence of Kadarius Toney, it makes complete sense as to why Golladay has seen less work.
