Week 9 Fantasy Football Buy-Low Trade Candidates: Jarvis Landry & Kyle Pitts

Checking fantasy football projections can provide a sense of how a player should perform in a given matchup. Let’s look into some of the best fantasy football trade values for Week 9 that could be league winners with the right buy-low offer.

Week 9 Fantasy Football Buy Low Trade Targets

Jarvis Landry – WR – Cleveland Browns

Unlike many options you look to trade for Landry is far from an exciting option in fantasy football. But without Odell Beckham Jr. we should be seeing more looks for Landry. Last week against the Steelers he saw 5 receptions on 10 targets for 65 yards. The week prior to that he saw 8 targets against the Broncos so it is very evident that Landry will be a target monster in this offense. Even with the Browns being such a run-heavy team, getting Landry on the cheap will be optimal.

Kyle Pitts – TE – Atlanta Falcons

Pitts is far from a buy-low candidate but here we should be fine paying the high price. Last week he struggled against the Panthers having just 2 receptions on 6 targets for 13 yards. Even with that said one down game should not scare you away from him. In the prior three games before that, he had 8,10, and 9 targets. Match that with Calvin Ridley being gone for at least the next three weeks we should see a heavy dosage of Pitts game in and game out.

D’Andre Swift – RB – Detroit Lions

Last week the excitement could be heard around the world to fire up D’Andre Swift against the Eagles. This was a game that many believed would be the Lions first win but it was the exact opposite of that. The Lions get stomped in the game and Swift struggled immensely. Having 12 rushes for 27 yards, with 5 receptions on 5 targets for 25 yards and a fumble. While that game may make some nervous, we should still be buying in on Swift. His target share alone is worth the trade having just as many targets this season as he did all of last year in 13 games.

Jerry Jeudy – WR – Denver Broncos

Jeudy returned from the injured reserve last week against Washington after having a six-week absence. In that game, he had 4 receptions on 4 targets for 39 yards. While that was far from an ideal game buying low on him makes perfect sense. It is very clear that Jeudy is one of the top receiving options for the Broncos and if the defense continues on a downward slope we will see more positive game scripts for the passing attacking. Meaning that the offense will have to pass more since the defense is allowing more points. Expect a strong bounce back this week for Jeudy.
