KBO DFS Picks: Spotlight Pitchers

Chan Gyu Lim

In cash games, Lim is at the top of the heap. He’s heavy chalk on both DraftKings and FanDuel. Lim and Flexen are essentially tied in terms of their odds for the game. Both guys are in the -215 neighborhood. The fantasy stats for Lim have been solid with 8.9 strikeouts per nine, but he’s struggled with some bad luck to the tune of a .333 BABIP. That makes the raw stats look like less of a success than it has been. I see no way to avoid him in cash. In GPPs, make sure you’re finding a spot or two where you are different than the public.

Chris Flexen

It’s ultra close between Lim and Flexen. I prefer him in smaller field tournaments, particularly on FanDuel. The two of them were the only two pitchers to hit my ownership cap on my preliminary crunches. Flexen has been the opposite of Lim in that he’s posting a 2.92 ERA in his first six starts. His FIP, however, comes in at 3.79. That is still good for the league, but a bit more pedestrian than first let on. Either way, these guys are the clear top-two options on slate and will make up the majority of ownership on both sites.
