Dan Straily
The price has finally taken a big leap, but it’s fully warranted. There’s an argument to made that Straily has been the best pitcher in the KBO this season. In 55.7 innings, Straily has struck out 28% of batters while limiting them to a 2.74 FIP. Only Chang-mo Koo of the Dinos has been better to date. Straily also enters the slate as the biggest favorite. It’s not like the league is figuring him out, either. In his most recent start, Straily struck out 10 over eight innings. He only allowed three baserunners. Lock him in. Cash, GPPs, whatever.
Tyler Wilson
If you need to go a different direction in GPPs, I think Wilson is the best play on both sites. Wilson and the Twins have the second lowest implied total against on the slate. The results have been similar to 2019 when Wilson 14-7 with a 3.25 FIP. It’s ticked up slightly, but I don’t really see a reason to be alarmed. Wilson is showing minimal ownership on FanDuel, and he’s well behind the cash duo of Straily and Shi Hwan Jang. If you’re trying to play a chalk stack, Wilson is the best pitching option so you can be unique.
