George Springer
FD: $4600
DK: $4800

While Cole Hamels doesn’t have the same struggles against righties as most left handed pitchers, George Springer crushes lefties. For his career, Springer has a .399 OBP, .543 SLG and .261 ISO against LHP. The Astros have a tasty implied total, so getting the RHH/LHP match-up for a lead-off hitter is perfect for me, especially when that hitter has pop like Springer.

Nelson Cruz
FD: $3700
DK: $4200

By now, most people know Nelson Cruz mashes lefties. Cruz has a career .276 ISO versus LHP, which is lethal. Matt Boyd isn’t very good, regardless of who is batting, so I can’t help but focus on Cruz and the Mariners. Cruz has to be one of the most likely homerun candidates for Friday night.

Christian Yelich
FD: $4000
DK: $4700

I need to have a least one piece of the the Coors pie. Christian Yelich looks like the best slice. Yelich has dramatic splits. He’s an All-Star against righties and a below average hitter against lefties. Luckily, Chad Bettis is a below average righty pitching in Coors. Yelich will be a bit chalky, but it’s hard to avoid this match-up.
