Kris Bryant
FD: $4800
DK: $5600

It’s not like Kris Bryant needs any extra juice behind him, but I can’t help focusing on his matchup tonight against Homer Bailey and the Reds. I currently have Bryant with the third highest hitting projection of the slate, behind Freddie Freeman and Mookie Betts. Combine that with the Cubs implied total, which is tied for the top spot, and you end up with Kris Bryant as a Spotlight Hitter.

Trevor Story
FD: $3800
DK: $4100

While the Rockies have a low-ish implied total for a slate this big, they’re uniquely set-up to face a lefty. The heart of their order thrives against left handed pitching, which makes Trevor Story look like an excellent shortstop option. I could easily have listed Nolan Arenado here, but I prefer to grab the more difficult position.

Freddie Freeman
FD: $4900
DK: $5400

Don’t listen to my colleagues during the live stream, where they question my Braves loyalty. I’m simply trying to be realistic. I’ll never pass on a good situation, though. The Braves have a monster implied total tonight against Dan Straily and the Marlins. I think the biggest benefactor of that high total is Freddie Freeman. Depending on the site, Freeman has either first or second in projected fantasy points. The Braves stack looks a bit better on DK, but I’m comfortable using Freeman in any scenario either site.
