The following Spotlight Hitters were selected by Awesemo.com’s Director of Content Josh Engleman. Please check back later for notes/additional picks from Awesemo himself.

Corey Seager
FD: $3700
DK: $4200

Seager is in a prime spot, regardless of site tonight against Taijuan Walker and the Diamondbacks. He gets to take advantage of the lefty/righty matchup, which is excellent for his career .508 SLG and .198 ISO. In my opinion, he’s the clear best shortstop option on DraftKings and FanDuel.

Asdrubal Cabrera
FD: $3700
DK: $3400

For the DraftKings crowd, Asdrubal Cabrera continues to be under-priced. Batting second, Cabrera has the opportunity to grab some extra plate appearances in a lineup with one of the better implied totals of the night. There are 11 guys with second base eligibility that have a higher salary than him, which is absurd. Don’t pass on his discounted price.

Ryan Braun
FD: $2800
DK: $4600

Moving to the opposite dugout from Cabrera, we’re also moving to the opposite site, as this is a play for the FanDuel peeps. Ryan Braun is priced at $2800, which is $1800 cheaper than his DraftKings price. Harvey struggled with the long ball in 2017, giving up 2.04 HR/9 in 92.2 innings. While Braun has made a career in mashing left handed pitching, I’m more than happy to grab him here versus the right handed Harvey.
