The following Spotlight Hitters were selected by Awesemo.com’s Director of Content Josh Engleman. Please check back later for notes/additional picks from Awesemo himself.

Albert Almora
FD: $3200
DK: $3000

If you’re looking for a piece of Coors today, look no further than Albert Almora. The Cubs have the highest implied total on the main slate, and Almora is slated to lead-off versus the lefty, Tyler Anderson. It’s amazing to be able to grab Almora at this price point, particularly on DraftKings. Almora has mashed lefties in his career, so I’m looking for the trend to continue tonight.

Mike Trout
FD: $5000
DK: $5500

The Angels have the second highest implied total, and they’re facing lefty Derek Holland. Is there really anything else I could say about why you should have Mike Trout tonight? He’s the best play of the entire slate.

Christian Yelich
FD: $4000
DK: $4600

He made this list yesterday, and he’s here again today. Christian Yelich looks great against Jose Urena and the Marlins. Urena struggles to miss bats, which makes for tough sledding against the lefty hitting Yelich. He went 1-2 with two walks, two runs and an RBI yesterday. He might have an even better match-up tonight.

Awesemo’s Notes
I agree with Josh that Almora is really underpriced on DraftKings and he will be a cash game staple tonight. Yelich is a good play tonight but I have Yoenis Cespedes and Jay Bruce ahead of him in cash because of the lower price points. Trout is always a good play but I agree with Josh that he’s even more premier tonight vs. a LHP.
