DraftKings and FanDuel Spotlight Hitters & Stacks, Friday 7/27

The following Spotlight Stacks & Hitters were selected by Awesemo.com’s Director of Content Josh Engleman.

Blue Jays (#1 DraftKings / #3 FanDuel)

  • Curtis Granderson
  • Lourdes Gurriel
  • Justin Smoak
  • Teoscar Hernandez

Another day, another stack against the White Sox. This time, Reynaldo Lopez gets to take the beating. Yangervis Solarte is just a step behind Teoscar for me, so I’ll have a bunch of him as well. Russell Martin is a decent option on both sites, not just DraftKings. I don’t have a ton of interest in Randall Grichuk if he’s hitting 8th, but he’s a worthwhile gamble because of the pop in his bat.

Rockies (#2 DraftKings / #2 FanDuel)

  • Nolan Arenado
  • Trevor Story
  • Ian Desmond
  • Chris Iannetta

Welcome to Coors! The right handed bats are the stars here. I’m shocked I got a decent amount of Garrett Hampson, but that’s what happens with a monster implied total. I’ll have some Charlie Blackmon, but it will be muted due to the matchup with Sean Manaea. With Carlos Gonzalez projected to hit 5th, I’ll have almost none of him. The Rockies will be a bit chalky, obviously, but I’m not getting away from them.

Pirates (#8 DraftKings / #1 FanDuel)

  • David Freese
  • Josh Harrison
  • Francisco Cervelli
  • Starling Marte

This one is unique. I still have a bit of the Pirates on DraftKings, but they’re more of a secondary stack than a priority for me. FanDuel, on the other hand, looks amazing. They are super cheap, plus they have an implied total just slightly north of 5 runs. These righties look amazing against Jason Vargas. Even guys like Jordan Loplow and Jordy Mercer are in play on FD because of their prices. Pittsburgh is a great team to use if you’re paying up for pitching.
