The following Spotlight Stacks & Hitters were selected by Awesemo.com’s Director of Content Josh Engleman.

Twins (#2 DraftKings / #1 FanDuel)

  • Miguel Sano
  • Max Kepler
  • Logan Forsythe
  • Jorge Polanco

Yeah, this one’s pretty easy. Drew Hutchison on the hill in Texas? It doesn’t get much better. The Twin are crazy cheap, so I’m expecting this to be one of the most popular spots of the day. Hutchison doesn’t miss enough bats, which is a recipe for disaster in the game with the highest total. Everyone is in play. Kepler didn’t play two nights ago, but tonight, he’s one of my favorites. Joe Mauer is a solid lineup filler on both sites. I prefer Robbie Grossman to Jake Cave on FanDuel, but I’d flip the two on DraftKings. Ultimately, it’s hard to find a bad spot in this game, which leads me to…

Rangers (#1 DraftKings / #2 FanDuel)

  • Elvis Andrus
  • Adrian Beltre
  • Shin-soo Choo
  • Roughned Odor

The Rangers. With the highest implied on the slate, Texas is set up to mash. Stephen Gonsalves has decent stuff, but he struggles with command. You can’t afford to give teams extra baserunners with these hitting conditions. Now, the top of the order has a lot of lefty bats, which could give people pause. I don’t expect Gonsalves to last super long, they’ll likely see some right handed relief pitchers quickly. Much like the Twins, there’s not really any landmines in the projected line-up. Carlos Tocci isn’t really a good hitter, but he’ll keep a line unique and gives you a shot at a wrap-around stack. Nomar Mazara’s price is low enough to keep him in play. I like Isiah Kiner-Falefa quite a bit as a value catcher.

Nationals (#7 DraftKings / #3 FanDuel)

  • Bryce Harper
  • Trea Turner
  • Anthony Rendon
  • Juan Soto

The Nationals have been frustrating me for a while, but the upside is too high to ignore. Chacin is really, really bad against left handed hitters. Harper and Soto are terrifying in this spot. Turner and Rendon are always popular for me because of the positions they play. Eaton’s my third favorite OF on the team, but you should still work him in to your stacks wherever you can. Noted incredible catcher Matt Wieters looks good as part of a stack on DraftKings. Wilfer Difo is the only piece of the Nats projected line-up that I won’t have. Otherwise, go nuts!
