The following Spotlight Stacks & Hitters were selected by Awesemo.com’s Director of Content Josh Engleman.
Twins (#1 DraftKings / #2 FanDuel)
- Brian Dozier
- Miguel Sano
- Robbie Grossman
- Mitch Garver
The Minnesota Jakes! This one is easy, as the match-up with the Matt Boyd and the Tigers isn’t one that strikes fear into the hearts of the Minnesota hitters. I’m loading up on the right handed bats above, but there‘s still a place for the other guys. Eddie Rosario looks good in the 2-hole, platoon disadvantage aside. Max Kepler has a decent price on DraftKings. Unfortunately, he has the exact same price on FanDuel, making him a less-desirable play.
Cardinals (#2 DraftKings / #3 FanDuel)
- Tommy Pham
- Marcell Ozuna
- Matt Carpenter [DK]
- Jedd Gyorko [FD]
This would look a bit different if the game were in San Diego. Fortunately for the Cardinals, it’s not. You’ll see I made a note for Carpenter and Gyorko. Carpenter is actually more expensive on FanDuel than DraftKings, so I would shade my ownership that way if you play on both sites. Similar scenario in reverse for Gyorko. I like Yadier Molina on DraftKings if you‘re looking for a catcher. He works in stacks and as a one-off.
Phillies (#4 DraftKings / #1 FanDuel)
- Rhys Hoskins
- Carlos Santana
- Aaron Altherr
- Scott Kingery
Even though the Phillies have struggled against lefties this season, I see this as an amazing matchup. Rhys Hoskins is one of the best plays of the slate, with massive power against LHP. Altherr doesn’t do much besides hit for some power, so I’m willing to take a big chance on him. I’ll work some Odubel Herrera into my lines, as I don’t expect him to have big ownership. He’ll make a Phillies stack more unique.
