Early Slate

Nationals (#2 DraftKings / #1 FanDuel)

  • Trea Turner
  • Bryce Harper
  • Anthony Rendon
  • Juan Soto

If the Nats prices are going to continue to be low, I’ll keep smashing them every day. There’s simply too much raw talent on this team. I have respect for Freddy Peralta, but he does have some trouble finding the plate. Washington can make him pay for free baserunners. I would love to get more Matt Adams or Daniel Murphy, but their spot in the order makes it a bit difficult to have them in bulk.

Cardinals (#1 DraftKings / #2 FanDuel)

  • Matt Carpenter
  • Marcell Ozuna
  • Paul DeJong
  • Yadier Molina

The chalk stays the chalk, no matter what time the game starts. St. Louis has been super-owned during this series against the Reds, and it won’t be changing today. The Cards have the highest implied total of the early slate in a matchup with the solid but hitable Sal Romano. While he’s not listed above, Jose Martinez looks good. I just happen to have the other guys more. For now, I’m skipping Fowler & Munoz if they are at the bottom of the order.

Main Slate

Rangers (#2 DraftKings / #1 FanDuel)

  • Shin-soo Choo
  • Rougned Odor
  • Adrian Beltre
  • Joey Gallo

Wild stuff here. The Rangers have a 5.8 run implied total, which is second to their opponent. The crazy part is: there’s also a Coors game on this slate. This game stack wen nuts yesterday, and all signs point to a similar outcome with Edwin Jackson and Martin Perez on the hill. I have big amounts of the entire Rangers lineup. The lefties, in particular, are hard to avoid. Any time you can stack against Edwin Jackson, you should.

Angels (#1 DraftKings / #2 FanDuel)

  • Kole Calhoun
  • Mike Trout
  • Andrelton Simmons
  • Justin Upton

Oddly enough, my other top stack isn’t in Coors. Thanks James Shields! Angels ownership should be concentrated in the top of their order. Outside of using Martin Maldonado on DraftKings, I’ll have very little of their projected 7-8-9 (Kinsler, Maldonado, Fletcher). If you need to pick between the outfielders, I would put them in this order:

Trout > Calhoun > Upton > Ohtani
