The chalk
While he has the highest projected ownership on DraftKings, I’m going to be eating the Gray chalk this afternoon. The price on Gray is simply too good to ignore. The Brewers strike out a ton against righties. They’ve been below average against right handed pitching for the season. Moustakas should help a little, but with a 4.1 run implied total, I think Gray has the opportunity to stack up the strikeouts. Gray works for me on both sites, but he’s a bit more appealing on DraftKings because of the price.
Shane Bieber [5.5 IP, 2.1 ER, 4.6 K, 1.1 BB]

The sleeper
On my preliminary builds, I ended up with a ton of Shane Bieber. While he’s not the biggest strikeout guy in the world, there’s a bunch of swing-and-miss in this Angels lineup. Plus, the Angels have the second lowest implied total of the entire slate. For me, Bieber has one of the highest floors of any pitcher going tonight. I don’t necessarily expect him to blow the Angels away, but, per my model, Bieber has one of the best chances to be a top-value pitcher. That’s what I’m looking for in my SP2.
