The following Spotlight Stacks were selected by Awesemo.com’s Director of Content Josh Engleman. Please check back later for notes/additional picks from Awesemo himself.
HOU (@ ARI)
There’s not a shortage of playable stacks on a night where every single team plays, but the Astros are probably my favorites of the slate. It starts with George Springer, who made my Spotlight Hitters list. After that, I’ll happily have it all. My focus would be on Jose Altuve, Carlos Correa, Yuleski Gurriel and Josh Reddick, but honestly, you can use anyone in the lineup and it works.
NYY (vs. CLE)
The Yankees will probably be the most popular stack, as they have the highest implied total by a mile. Brett Gardner, Didi Gregorius and Giancarlo Stanton are grading out the highest for me, but I also like Aaron Hicks, Aaron Judge and Gary Sanchez. Miguel Andujar could be slightly lowered owned, so he makes for a nice play to differentiate your stack.
MIN (@ CWS)
Man, I love the Twins. Carson Fulmer is simply not a good picher. The Twins are LOADED with lefty bats, with everyone in the order hitting from the left side except for Brian Dozier. Joe Mauer, Max Kepler and Logan Morrison are my favorites, but there’s no limit the Twins you can use.
Awesemo’s Notes
I agree with Josh that the Yankees will probably be the highest owned stack with their huge team total, so I will try to avoid them in higher stakes GPPs and qualifiers. I have Houston as a great stack on FanDuel and a good one on DK. Minnesota is also one of the top stacks popping up in my crunches.
