DraftKings and FanDuel Spotlight Stacks, Tuesday 4/10

Now that the NBA season is finally winding down, I’ll be shifting my focus to baseball. If you’re looking for my thoughts on the whole slate, check out our strategy video. For now, these are my (Josh Engleman) spotlight stacks for Tuesday night. Awesemo will also weigh in with his thoughts later this afternoon.

LAA (@ TEX)

The Angels are set-up nicely for a stack with a match-up against Martin Perez and the Texas Rangers. Sporting the 2nd highest implied run total of the day, they are carried by Mike Trout, Justin Upton and Zack Cozart. That trio has an A ranking for total points on both sites. The Angels grade out better from a value perspective on FanDuel, but they’re still a high end stack on DraftKings.

NYM (@ MIA)

The Mets are loaded with right handed hitting at the top of their order, which is a recipe for success against a left handed starter. There are plenty of A’s and B’s to go around on both sites, but starting with Spotlight hitter Wilmer Flores wouldn’t be the worst idea. Frazier, Cabrera, Lagares and Cespedes can all be used, depending how large of a stack you’re looking for.

PHI (vs. CIN)

Plenty of options in Philadelphia depending on what you need. If it’s value, take a closer look at Nick Williams, Andrew Knapp and/or JP Crawford. If it’s something more on the high end, there’s Carlos Santana and/or Rhys Hoskins. Odubel Herrera checks off both boxes, with a B/B ranking on both sites.

Awesemo’s Notes

The Angels and the Mets are grading out as my top stacks on the day on both DraftKings and FanDuel. I will definitely have some Phillies stacks in tournaments, but I prefer the Cardinals today with a similar team total and lower average prices.
