Below are three of the best Jock MKT MLB picks for the MLB Playoffs on Tuesday, Oct. 12, based on the expert MLB DFS projections from the No. 1 DFS player in the world, Alex Baker.

The Jock MKT Starter Kit: MLB DFS Picks | Oct. 12

To begin, enter the MLB Daily Market when the Initial Public Offering (IPO) phase is underway. Leading up until the first game, bid on players you are interested in acquiring on the open market. Is there a player who you consider a favorite to finish at the top of the rankings? Invest as much or as little as you want in their fantasy performance, with shares beginning at $1 and ranging all the way up to $25. See potential injury news that could open an opportunity for another player to acquire fantasy points? Make speculative bids for shares of the backup, hoping for that news to break after the IPO phase is complete.

The next part of the game occurs during live trading. Unlike regular MLB DFS, where your plays are locked in, you can buy and sell shares of players while the games are happening based on their production and where you could see them finishing amongst the field. Track as current points, projected points, and live price for each player is updated in real-time, allowing you to track the action and invest in an instant to account for news. Trading can be done all the way up until the final pitch of the night’s final game.

Each player share is paid out at the end of the games based on their final rankings of fantasy points amongst the field. If the shares you own are worth more than what you paid, you win money. For more information, check out the Jock MKT website.

Jock MKT MLB DFS Picks Tonight

Alex Bregman — 3B — Houston Astros

The Astros will look to finish off the Chicago White Sox in Game 4 of the American League Division Series. Bregman leads Houston with five hits during the first three games of the postseason. Today’s matchup pits the Astros against left-hander Carlos Rodon, and Bregman had strong .300/.397/.442 slash numbers against lefties during the regular season. About 65% of the money is going to the Astros in betting circles this afternoon. That lends some optimism in the matchup that Bregman could have some additional RBI opportunities. Houston had top-five numbers in advanced offensive metrics, and its offense has scored a combined 21 runs in the first three games of this series.

Christian Yelich — OF — Milwaukee Brewers

It has been a disastrous start offensively to the postseason for the Brewers. The team has scored a total of two runs in the series, both of which came in Game 1, and Milwaukee is 0-for-16 with runners in scoring position this series. However, Yelich is the perfect candidate as a stock on the rise. It was certainly a disappointing regular season, but Yelich has hits in each of the last two games and added a stolen base in yesterday’s game. He also had a hard-hit ball late in Game 3 that was turned into a double play. According to Awesemo’s expert projections, Yelich is expected to have the second-most fantasy points of anyone on today’s slate.

Trea Turner — 2B — Los Angeles Dodgers

Turner is the player Awesemo projects to have the most fantasy points on today’s slate. With the Giants looking to finish off the series, the Dodgers need as much production from their stars as possible. Turner is one of the most talented players in baseball, utilizing all five of the major tools within the game. His ability to hit for power and steal bases makes him a slam-dunk pick almost every night. The Dodgers take aim at Giants right-hander Anthony DeSclafani, who is 0-3 with a 7.33 ERA in six starts against them this season.
