Early Slate

New York Yankees at RHP T.J. Zeuch – 6.2 implied runs

In his first two appearances, RHP T.J. Zeuch has survived in Atlanta and against Boston.  He has tallied 8.1 innings with a 5.40 ERA, 1.68 WHIP with five strikeouts and one home run.  It could be worse… and by worse, I mean he has to face the Yankees on Sunday.  The 23-year old righty has had only a 6.4 K/9 over 342.2 MiLB innings though he does not allow a lot of power.

That said, New York is brimming with power bats with Didi Gregorius being our first target with the platoon advantage.  After that look to Luke Voit, Gleyber Torres, Aaron Judge, Gio Urshela, Brett Gardner and D.J. LeMahieu.

Mid-Afternoon Slate

Houston Astros at RHP Jakob Junis – 6.0 implied runs

Here we go again, back to the Astros with absolutely zero apologies.  This has been an uneven season for RHP Jakob Junis as he has been in the doldrums allowing 17 earned runs in his last four starts with four home runs allowed in his last three.  Since the beginning of last season he has 62 which is the third most in the league.

We can target both lefties and righties as Junis allows power to both sides of the plate.  Alex Bregman, George Springer and Yordan Alvarez are the trio to target.  For a full stack, focus on Yuli Gurriel, Jose Altuve and Michael Brantley.

Afternoon Slate

Coors Field Extravaganza – 14.0 implied runs

The Rockies will be squaring off against rookie RHP Cal Quantrill who has been very sketchy recently.  Over his last three starts he has averaged just over four innings with eight runs allowed in each appearance.  With 34 baserunners, four home runs and just 10 strikeouts he is in poor form.  The usual suspects aka Trevor Story, Charlie Blackmon and Nolan Arenado should be the primary targets.  Daniel Murphy, Samuel Hilliard, Ryan McMahon and Raimel Tapia can round out the full-stacks.

Tail Awesemo's Sports Betting Picks Today!

The visiting Padres will be battling RHP Chi Chi Gonzalez who managed to hold the Cardinals to just one run in his last home start.  On the season he still has a 6.56 ERA, 1.56 WHIP and only 27 punchouts across 48.0 innings.  Again, looking to the power bats Manny Machado, Wil Myers and Eric Hosmer lead the way.  If it is a full-stack strategy you seek, then Josh Naylor, Nick Martini and luck of the draw will complete your efforts.

Late Slate

Tampa Bay Rays at LHP Patrick Sandoval – 5.2 implied runs

In his six starts despite averaging 75 pitches per outing, LHP Patrick Sandoval has completed the fifth inning only once.  In three of the starts he has managed to last just 3.1 innings. During his last two seasons in the minors, Sandoval has been relatively splits neutral.  Look to anyone in the Rays lineup with power from either side of the plate.  Tommy Pham and Travis d’Arneau will be leading the charge for the righties and Austin Meadows, Eric Sogard and Nate Lowe for the lefties.
