Greetings Gamers! This is shaping up to be a fun slate with some solid pitchers and no real “must-play” ballpark. There are, however, some gas cans that are in desperate need of a match.

If you haven’t signed up for Yahoo Fantasy DFS, click this link and use the promo code Awesemo when making your first deposit and you will be eligible for $30 of “free play,” which Yahoo will match through the first $30 of your deposit (this bonus will be received in Yahoo Sports Rewards Points, a.k.a. Main Slate

Atlanta Braves vs. RHP Tyler Beede – 5.5 implied runs

We know to target the mediocre San Fransisco pitchers on the road, and first up in this series is RHP Tyler Beede. Depending on your metric of choice, Beede is about 30-40% worse when he is away from Oracle Park. Lefties and righties have equally benefited from facing him this season and Atlanta has a nice mix of both.

First on our list is, of course, Freddie Freeman, followed closely by Josh Donaldson, Ronald Acuna and Ozzie AlbiesNick Markakis has been back for a handful of games after missing almost two months and he has been on a tear. Matthew Joyce and Brian McCann are nicely discounted depending on your site of choice. Lastly, for differentiation we can consider Dansby Swanson as the lynchpin in a wraparound stack.

Evening Slate

Minnesota Twins vs. LHP Eric Skoglund – 6.0 implied runs

With RHP Jakob Junis being shut down for the rest of the season, LHP Eric Skoglund is back in the rotation. Unfortunately for him, he is facing one of the best teams in the league against southpaws. On the season, the Twins have a 126 wRC+ which means they score 26% more runs than the league average against lefties.

Over his 14 innings this season, Skoglund has allowed 13 earned runs, three home runs, seven walks with JUST TWO STRIKEOUTS. Load up on the usual suspects for Minnesota. The first tier is, of cours,e Nelson Cruz, Mitch Garver and Miguel Sano. The next group includes Jorge Polanco, Marwin Gonzalez, Jonathan Schoop and Ryan LaMarre for differentiation.

Late Slate

Los Angeles Dodgers vs. RHP Peter Lambert – 5.9 implied runs

Oh, poor 22-year old rookie RHP Peter Lambert. This has not been a fun season for him. On a positive note, the southpaw has not allowed a home run in each of his last two starts. Sadly, he has managed only four strikeouts with six walks and six earned runs over those 10.0 innings. On the season, he has a 6.99 ERA, 1.71 WHIP with just 54 punchouts in 86.1 innings and 17 home runs allowed.

Lefties have gotten to the youngster with a 1.73 HR/9 and a .264 ISO, with righties equally as effective with a 1.80 HR/9 and a .236 ISO. The Dodgers have power from both sides of the plate which could make this a quick outing for Lambert.

Look to Cody Bellinger, Joc Pederson, Max Muncy, A.J. Pollock and Corey SeagerWill Smith is a solid option where we need to roster catchers. Justin Turner may be back from injury and Gavin Lux or whoever else makes the lineup in the infield is a differentiation option.
