UFC Vegas 31: Makhachev  vs. Moises MMA DFS Picks

Top-End Picks

Francisco Figueiredo | DraftKings: $8,900, FanDuel: $20

Figueiredo made his UFC debut in January after 15 months on the shelf. He made up for lost time against Jerome Rivera by using crisp striking and a solid ground game to cruise to a unanimous decision. The brother of the former flyweight champion Deiveson. Figueiredo has three wins via knockout, seven via submission, and two via decision. He lands 1.93 significant strikes pre minute with 54% striking accuracy. Figueiredo is a solid core play with a high ceiling due to his striking and submission game. Awesemo’s UFC DFS DraftKings and FanDuel Projections give Figueiredo 74% win odds with 48% chance for a knockout.

Mid-Range Picks

Daniel Rodriguez | DraftKings: $8,800, FanDuel: $20

Rodriguez has won 10 of his last 11 fights and is coming off a dominant performance win against Mike Perry in April. He should clearly be the better striker in this fight. I expect Rodriguez will look to keep this fight on the feet, where he should be able to dominate Preston Parsons with his crisp boxing. Rodriguez has seven wins via knockout, four via submission and three via decision. He is a solid mid-range play due to his elite boxing and submission game. Awesemo’s UFC DFS projections give 73% win odds with a 55% chance for a knockout.

Gabriel Benitez | DraftKings: $8,500, FanDuel: $18

Benitez is nasty southpaw with huge power in his left hand. This is a risky play, but if Benitez can keep this fight standing and land his power left hand it could be a slate breaker. Benitez has a solid finishing rate, winning 18 fights out of 22 by way of knockout. I expect this will be an extremely high paced fight. Therefore, there is a high chance Benitez could add to his knockout total when he steps into the cage against Billy Quarantillo. Awesemo’s UFC DFS projections give 62% win odds.

Value Picks

Anderson Dos Santos | DraftKings: $7,800, FanDuel: $13

Dos Santos bounced back followed two defeats in a row with a victory via submission over Martin Day in November. He is a submission specialist and can finish this fight anywhere. Dos Santos will be coming into this fight with momentum and huge confidence. He has five wins via knockout, twelve via submission, and four via decision. There is risk with Dos Santos, but at $7,800 if Dos Santos gets a first-round submission, he could absolutely break the slate. Awesemo’s UFC DFS projections give 38% win odds.
