That said, I expect Saidyokub Kakhramonov to look solid early in this fight, however he has slowed down in past fights, and we can expect the same here. Kakhramonov is taking this fight on a couple days’ notice, and I expect Jones striking to be to much for Kakhramonov in the later rounds. Mid-Priced Picks
Ramiz Brahimaj | DraftKings: $8,500, FanDuel: $17
Brahimaj will have a huge edge on the mat, and I expect he will look for takedowns early. He made his Octagon debut in November 2020, suffering gruesome ear damage in a knockout loss to Max Griffin. That said, Brahimaj is a solid mid-range play, due to his takedown upside and submission game. I expect we see Brahimaj lock up a first-round submission. All eight of his professional victories have come via submission. Awesemo’s UFC DFS projections give Brahimaj 56% win odds.
Vinc Pichel | DraftKings: $8,200, FanDuel: $15
Pichel will have a big edge in this fight with his grappling early. However, there could be some concern with his gas tank the more he chooses to wrestle. Although, I expect Pichel will be able preserve his gas tank and be relentless with his takedowns. For DFS, Pichel has solid upside with takedowns and control time. Pichel also can finish this fight on the mat, which could break the slate if he locks in a submission. Awesemo’s UFC DFS projections give Pichel 50% win odds.

Kelvin Gastelum | DraftKings: $7,500, FanDuel: $17
Gastelum’s size and striking disadvantages are seriously worrisome. However, Jared Cannonier is not a high-paced striker, and he will heavily rely on his power. Gastelum is tough as nails and seemingly impossible to finish. That said, I expect Gastelum will look to wear down Cannonier and make this a long fight, which will play into Gastelum’s favor. For DFS, Gastelum is a solid value play at $7,500 and could score very well in a decision win. Awesemo’s UFC DFS projections give Gastelum 42% win odds.
