That said, Shevchenko will have a clear advantage anywhere this fight goes. For DFS, Shevchenko is a lock in all formats, due to her ceiling and potential for a knockout or submission win. Awesemo’s UFC DFS DraftKings and FanDuel projections give Shevchenko 92% win odds with a 62% chance for a knockout.
Mid-Priced Picks
Uros Medic | DraftKings: $8,400, FanDuel: $15
Medic will come out fast, angry, and will push a dangerous pace that can finish his opponents in a hurry. He has huge knockout power in his hands, accuracy to find the chin and an absolute killer instinct to finish the fight fast as possible. Medic will have the edge in power, but Jalin Turner does have more professional UFC experience. That said, I expect Medic will test the chin of Turner early and often. For DFS lineups this week, Medic is a solid play in GPPs and could absolutely crush his $8,400 price tag. Awesemo’s UFC DFS projections give 52% win odds with a 36% chance for a knockout.
Nick Maximov | DraftKings: $8,000, FanDuel: $18
Maximov is a danger once the fight hits the mat, and will earn top position and transition to the dominant position with ease. He will bring a relentless pace, and this should wear on Cody Brundage, who is taking this fight on a couple days’ notice. For DFS, Maximov is a lock in cash games and a solid play in GPPs. Awesemo’s UFC DFS projections give 52% win odds.

Ortega is one of the most dangerous grapplers in the UFC. That said, in his last bout against Chan Sung Jung Ortega’s striking looked phenomenal and the gains he made from the Max Holloway fight were amazing to watch. However, Alexander Volkanovski will still have the slight edge in striking exchanges, but Ortega with his elite Gracie black belt in jiu-jitsu is live for a submission victory at any point in this fight. For DFS, at $7,600 Ortega being such a threat for a submission is a solid play in GPPs. Awesemo’s UFC DFS projections give Ortega 39% win odds.
