Silva is coming into this fight, with a knockout win over Wellington Turman in June, and a comeback win via knockout over Andrew Sanchez in October. Jordan Wright is a prefect matchup up for Silva, and I expect Silva will take full advantage of this opportunity with an early knockout to keep his streak intact. For DFS, Silva is a strong way to start your lineup builds in all formats. Awesemo’s projections give Silva 76% win odds with a 65% chance for a knockout.

Mid-Priced Picks

Josh Emmett | DraftKings: $8,800, FanDuel: $19

This will be Emmett’s first fight in almost 18 months, which is the second-longest layoff of his career. That said, expect Emmett’s punching power to be more than Dan Ige can withstand for three rounds. However, Ige is extremely tough and very persistent in his fights, so if there is any rust from Emmett’s extended layoff, Ige is more than capable of taking full advantage. Although, I expect Emmett will be well prepared and bring big power and huge bombs to sway the judges if it goes the full three rounds. Tai Tuivasa | DraftKings: $8,300, FanDuel: $16

Tuivasa is currently riding a three-fight winning streak, with all three coming via first-round knockout. He will start most fights by kicking his opponents legs from range, which gives him the opportunity to enter the pocket. Tuivasa will walk forward, swing big, ignore defense and look to finish his opponents early. That said, if Augusto Sakai can survive the first round, then he could likely pick up the win. However, I expect Tuivasa to continue his winning streak with another knockout finish. For DFS, Tuivasa is a solid mid-priced play due to his early finishing rate. Awesemo’s projections give Tuivasa 51% win odds with 41% chance for a knockout.

Charles Oliveira | DraftKings: $7,600, FanDuel: $16

This will be Oliveira’s first lightweight title defense, and he is currently riding a nine-fight winning streak. In this fight, for some reason Oliveira is going extremely underappreciated. Most are forgetting that Oliveira holds a few UFC records at his young age, including most submission wins, most finishes, and bonuses in the UFC. That said, I expect this will end inside the distance and would not be surprised to see another submission win by Oliveira. This should be an exciting fight packed full of action. For DFS, Oliveira’s price is way to cheap for such a dangerous finishing specialist, he is playable in al formats. Awesemo’s projections give Oliveira 41% win odds.
