Dream11 NBA Picks: Awesemo Grades | March 2

C Nerlens Noel: 6 Credits

The Knicks roll into San Antonio to face a Spurs team playing their second game in as many nights. That’s not a good scenario for the Spurs, who are 0-4 on the back end of back-to-back sets. Right off the bat, we can expect an uptick in rebounding production, as Noel’s opponent will likely miss more shots than usual. San Antonio already owns the fifth-worst rebounding rate in the NBA.

Over the weekend, Noel played at least 40 minutes in each of the two games, both of which were on back-to-back nights. The absence of Knicks center Mitchell Robinson will only continue to put the energetic big man in these advantageous positions. Noel also has at least 2 blocks in 10 of his last 11 games and even 4 steals over the last two games — that’s a great way to rack up the fantasy points for Dream11 NBA.

PF Julius Randle: 37 Credits

You can basically take everything I said about Noel and apply it to Randle here; the only difference is that Randle will score a lot more points. The newly selected All-Star is having quite the season, averaging 23.4 points and 10.9 rebounds per game. This matchup against a tired Spurs team is one that we want to take advantage of.

The biggest leap in Randle’s game has clearly been from behind the 3-point line. After shooting only 33.3% from deep in January, he bounced back to shoot 46.3% in February. He also made 1.3 more 3-pointers per game in February compared to the month before.

C Jonas Valanciunas: 14.5 Credits

Valanciunas gets a tasty matchup tonight against a Wizards team that ranks dead last against the center position. Unfortunately, he wasn’t needed much in the Grizzlies’ last game, a 133-84 blowout win against the Rockets. That game ended a streak of six straight double-doubles for Valanciunas.

This is a perfect time to start another streak, though. The Wizards run the NBA’s fastest pace, and that will interject more possessions into the game, giving more opportunities for points, rebounds and everything else imaginable on the stat sheet. In his last two meetings against Washington, Valanciunas has a total of 30 rebounds and four blocks.
