NBA Fantasy Projections & Optimizer Picks for DraftKings & FanDuel 11/13

With seven games on the schedule for tonight, it’s a laid-back NBA fantasy Saturday slate, especially since the first game won’t be included for the DFS main slate. While there are only a few games, there appears to be a bunch of injury news. Dennis Schroder: $6,300 DraftKings/$5,700 FanDuel | 27.3% DraftKings Boom/34.2% FanDuel Boom

Jaylen Brown will join the Celtics tonight, but he is expected not to play tonight. With Brown out, Dennis Schroder should continue to start and play a large role. He has a usage of 27% or higher in his past three starts, highlighted by 33.5% usage in his last game. Such a high usage rate resulted in a 38-point, three-assists and eight-rebound performance. Tonight, he faces an improved Cleveland team, though improved doesn’t mean great. The Awesemo Boom/Bust Tool gives Schroder a floor of around 27 NBA fantasy points tonight but a ceiling of about 39.

Patrick Beverley: $4,200 DraftKings/$5,000 FanDuel | 32.9% DraftKings Boom/20.5% FanDuel Boom

The Awesemo Boom/Bust Tool gives Patrick Beverley the highest “boom” percentage on DraftKings. Beverley is priced where he will hit value with only a couple of points. However, if he scores in double-digits, he will be valuable enough to be considered a “boom” play. Beverley is averaging 6.0 rebounds, 5.2 assists, 0.4 steals and 0.8 blocks over his past five games. He scores 11 points last game, which resulted in a big performance for Beverley. He faces the Clippers in Los Angeles tonight, so look for him to get revenge against his former team.

Darius Garland: $6,900 DraftKings/$6,000 FanDuel | 25.7% DraftKings Boom/34.2% FanDuel Boom

The Awesemo Boom/Bust Tool gives Darius Garland the highest “boom” percentage on FanDuel. Collin Sexton will be out for an extended period, due to a knee injury, which increases the efficiency of Garland. With Sexton off the floor this season, Garland average 0.98 DraftKings points and 0.94 FanDuel NBA fantasy points per minute. Awesemo projects Garland for a team-high 36.5 minutes tonight against the Celtics.

Domantas Sabonis: $9,200 DraftKings/$8,700 FanDuel | 66.5% DraftKings Bust/61.5% FanDuel Bust

Domantas Sabonis continues to be overpriced for NBA fantasy, given his recent play. At his current price, he would have been a bust in four of his past five games. The biggest issue for Sabonis is his lack of assists, as he is averaging 2.9 fewer assists than last season. He also faces the 76ers tonight, who have the slowest pace in the league this season. Fewer possessions mean even fewer opportunities for Sabonis to put up NBA fantasy points. Awesemo’s projections give him a -7.81 value on DraftKings and -7.02 on FanDuel today.
