NBA Fantasy: Boom Bust Tool Projections for DraftKings + FanDuel Lineups | Today 11/24

On tap for Wednesday is a massive 13-game slate. With 26 teams in action competing, NBA fantasy lineups on DraftKings and FanDuel will be flush with high-level talent and value plays. The Awesemo NBA Starting Lineups page will provide breaking news when starters are announced as well as a full injury report on players who might be missing in action. Below are some NBA daily fantasy options that stand out for tonight’s slate using Awesemo’s Boom/Bust Tool and NBA DFS projections.

NBA Fantasy Projections & Optimal Lineup Picks Tonight

Boom: Josh Giddey: $6,600 DraftKings/$6,000 FanDuel

30.7% DraftKings Boom/41% FanDuel Boom

Fire up Giddey in all formats tonight with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (ankle) sidelined. Gilgeous-Alexander missed his first game of the season Monday, and Giddey slid over to point guard and shined with 40.25 DraftKings points across 31 minutes against the Hawks. Giddey scores 1.12 DraftKings points per minute with Gilgeous-Alexander off the floor, mostly due to a 6.9-percentage-point increase to his assist rate. Tonight’s matchup against the Jazz is far from ideal, as they rank sixth in defensive efficiency, but Giddey will be at home and is underpriced for life without Gilgeous-Alexander. According to Awesemo’s Boom Bust Tool, Giddey has a ceiling over 40 fantasy points tonight for both DraftKings and FanDuel.

Boom: C.J. McCollum: $7,600 DraftKings/$7,500 FanDuel

30.9% DraftKings Boom/30.3% FanDuel Boom

Tonight McCollum is in an outstanding spot against the Kings. Sacramento ranks 11th in pace and 24th in defensive efficiency. The Trail Blazers have been even worse on the defensive end, ranking 26th in efficiency. As a result, this clash of poor defenses has by far the highest total on the slate (227 points). Additionally, this game is expected to stay close throughout, with Portland only favored by 2.5 points. Last night McCollum torched the Nuggets for 46.75 DraftKings points in 34.3 minutes of work. For the season, he has a 25.8% usage rate and 1.1 DraftKings points per minute. Plus, McCollum has thrived against the Kings over the last two seasons, averaging 55 DraftKings points per game across three matchups.

Having shares of this game should be a priority tonight, and at sub-$8,000 price tags on both DraftKings and FanDuel, McCollum is the best way to gain access to this elite environment. He has a top-10 boom score on both sites.

Fellow NBA expert Zach Brunner loves McCollum today as well, which he wrote about in his NBA DFS Picks, Grades & Values article today.

Boom: Dejounte Murray: $9,600 DraftKings/$9,700 FanDuel

22.4% DraftKings Boom/19.5% FanDuel Boom

Murray has been tremendous this season. He is coming off a game with 59 DraftKings points against the Suns on Monday, which marked his third triple-double and seventh game over 50 DraftKings points in 16 starts this season. With DeMar DeRozan no longer a Spur, Murray has career highs in both usage (24.9%) and assist percentage (32.5%), helping him score 1.3 DraftKings points per minute. After Monday’s stellar outing, Murray is going against a Hawks team that ranks 27th in defensive efficiency. Vegas gives this matchup the third-highest total on the board (223.5 points), and the Hawks are only 4-point favorites. Murray’s ceiling is north of 50 fantasy points in this plus spot, and Awesemo is projecting him for single-digit ownership on both DraftKings and FanDuel, making Murray one of the premier GPP targets of the night.

Boom: Malcolm Brogdon: $7,600 DraftKings/$7,700 FanDuel

24.4% DraftKings Boom/19.7% FanDuel Boom

Brogdon brings terrific upside tonight at a very reasonable cost. He will be playing way up in pace against the Lakers, who have been the fastest team in the league this season. Los Angeles also ranks 20th in defensive efficiency, and this game has the fifth-highest total on the slate (217.5 points). Furthermore, the spread is only 4.5 points in favor of Indiana. This season Brogdon has a 26.5% usage rate and a 28.6% assist percentage, lifting him to 1.17 DraftKings points per minute. His recent game log is up and down, but when Brogdon has competed in spreads under 5 points this season, he has averaged 42 DraftKings points per game. Lastly, it is worth noting Caris LeVert (back) is questionable, and if he sits, Brogdon needs to be a core play. When LeVert has been off the court this season, Brogdon’s usage has jumped 2.1 percentage points and he has averaged 1.23 DraftKings points per minute.
