NBA Fantasy: Boom Bust Tool Projections for DraftKings + FanDuel Lineups | Today 11/30

On tap for Tuesday night is a five-game slate. Even with only 10 teams in action, NBA fantasy lineups on DraftKings and FanDuel will be flush with high-level talent and value plays. The Awesemo NBA Starting Lineups page will provide breaking news when starters are announced as well as a full injury report on players who might be missing in action. Below are some NBA daily fantasy options that stand out for tonight’s slate using Awesemo’s Boom/Bust Tool and NBA DFS projections.

NBA Fantasy Projections & Optimal Lineup Picks Tonight

Boom: Precious Achiuwa: $4,400 DraftKings/$5,200 FanDuel

42.8% DraftKings Boom/23.2% FanDuel Boom

With O.G. Anunoby (hip) and Khem Birch (knee) out for the last three, Achiuwa has started at center for the Raptors and scored 22 DraftKings points in 32.3 minutes per game. Included in this stretch was a 28.5-DraftKings-point effort against the Grizzlies, who Achiuwa will face again tonight with both Anunoby and Birch sidelined. Achiuwa produces 0.9 DraftKings points per minute with these two players off the court, and the Grizzlies present a gorgeous matchup. Memphis ranks dead last in defensive efficiency, sixth in pace and sixth worst in points in the paint allowed. In this spot the Raptors’ implied team total is the sixth highest on the slate (110 points).

Awesemo is projecting Achiuwa for 30.3 minutes tonight, and Achiuwa is averaging 27.6 DraftKings points in the 14 games he has cracked 25 minutes. All things considered, Achiuwa is very underpriced right now and is rating as a top-three value on the slate for both DraftKings and FanDuel.

Boom: Fred VanVleet: $8,700 DraftKings/$8,400 FanDuel

16.9% DraftKings Boom/16.3% FanDuel Boom

VanVleet also benefits with the Raptors beaten up and is standing out as one of the better options of the night. In these past three sans Anunoby and Birch, VanVleet has contributed 45 DraftKings points per game. Furthermore, in the 191 minutes he has played with Anunoby and Birch off the floor this season, VanVleet’s usage has increased 4.2 percentage points to a team-high 28.2%, resulting in 1.2 DraftKings points per minute. As noted above, the Grizzlies are fast paced and have the worst defense in the NBA, and when VanVleet met this club last Wednesday, he recorded 48.5 DraftKings points across 36.6 minutes of work. At sub-$9,000 price tags on both DraftKings and FanDuel, VanVleet is an enticing high-end target for all formats.

Awesemo NBA betting expert Adam Strangis loves this prop bet for VanVleet tonight. Check out his favorite props and more in his NBA Picks & Parlays article today.

Latest NBA DFS Content

Boom: Tyus Jones: $5,200 DraftKings/$4,600 FanDuel

26.5% DraftKings Boom/37.2% FanDuel Boom

With Ja Morant (knee) on the shelf, Jones is the Grizzlies’ interim starting point guard. He got the spot start for Morant on Saturday, and in the nine full games Morant has missed over the last two seasons, Jones is averaging 27.2 DraftKings points in 28.2 minutes per game. Jones’ playing time was cut short in the blowout win Saturday, but he saw 15.4 minutes in the first half, putting him on pace for over 30. Tonight’s matchup with the Raptors is expected to be competitive throughout, with Toronto only a 3.5-point favorite. Jones should approach 30 minutes in this type of environment, and this is a plus spot since the Raptors rank 23rd in defensive efficiency.

Jones averages 1 DraftKings points per minute with Morant off the court this season and has a ceiling north of 30 fantasy points tonight for both DraftKings and FanDuel according to Awesemo’s Boom Bust Tool.

Boom: Richaun Holmes: $6,200 DraftKings/$6,700 FanDuel

31.3% DraftKings Boom/19% FanDuel Boom

Holmes (eye/illness) has missed the last three games but will make his return for Tuesday’s shootout with the Lakers. By a sizeable gap this matchup’s total is the highest on the slate (227 points), and the Kings also have the fifth-largest implied team total (111.5 points). The Lakers lead the league in pace, and they have also been extremely vulnerable inside, allowing the third-most rebounds and second-most points in the paint. This is a perfect spot for Holmes, and this season he is providing 1.11 DraftKings points per minute and 31 DraftKings points per game. Particularly on DraftKings where Holmes only costs $6,200, Holmes is an excellent way to gain exposure to this slate-high total, possibly at decently low ownership.

Awesemo NBA writer Zach Brunner also has his eye on Holmes in this matchup tonight. Check out how Holmes rates out in Zach’s NBA DFS Picks, Grades & Values article.
