NBA Fantasy: Boom Bust Tool Projections for DraftKings + FanDuel Lineups | Today 11/9

For Tuesday night, DFS players get a three-game slate to attack. Still with only six teams in action, NBA fantasy lineups on DraftKings and FanDuel will be flush with high-level talent and value plays. The Awesemo NBA Starting Lineups page will provide breaking news when starters are announced as well as a full injury report on players who might be missing in action. Below are some NBA daily fantasy options that stand out for tonight’s slate using Awesemo’s Boom/Bust Tool and NBA DFS projections.

Awesemo NBA expert Zach Brunner gives out the best value plays today in his NBA DFS Grades & Values article, using Awesemo’s premium data and tools.

NBA Fantasy Projections & Optimal Lineup Picks Tonight

Boom: Andre Drummond: $7,700 DraftKings/$7,200 FanDuel

73.3% DraftKings Boom/79.7% FanDuel Boom

For this three-game slate, Drummond is simply unavoidable. Joel Embiid (health protocols) is away from the team, and in the two starts Drummond has made this season, he has responded with 54.25 DraftKings points in 35.8 minutes per game. Awesemo’s projects Drummond for 33.2 minutes tonight against the Bucks, which is more than enough time for him to post another double-double. He is averaging 1.34 DraftKings points per minute this season, and the Bucks have been a plus spot for big men. They are allowing the ninth-most points in the paint and the fourth-most rebounds per game.

DraftKings and FanDuel have increased Drummond’s price tags to new season highs, but he is still vastly underpriced. His DraftKings salary got all the way up to $9,900 last season, and in the last 10 games Drummond has topped 30 minutes, he averaged 53.3 DraftKings points per game. For both sites tonight, Drummond has the top boom score and is rating as the No. 1 value on the slate.

Boom: Bobby Portis: $5,400 DraftKings/$5,800 FanDuel

40.6% DraftKings Boom/32.5% FanDuel Boom

In terms of per-dollar value, Portis is second only to Drummond tonight according to the projections. Due to a hamstring injury, he was limited to start the season, but Portis is no longer under a minutes restriction and logged a season-high 30.4 minutes Sunday against the Wizards as the Bucks starting center with Brook Lopez (back) inactive. Portis finished with 45.25 DraftKings points against Washington and should have a similar role Tuesday against the 76ers with Lopez still sidelined. Portis is averaging 1.1 DraftKings points per minute this season and 36.1 DraftKings points per game in the last 10 in which he has logged at least 25 minutes. The Bucks’ implied team total is the third highest on the slate (111.5 points), and Portis is a tough fade on both DraftKings and FanDuel.

Boom: Furkan Korkmaz: $4,900 DraftKings/$5,400 FanDuel

29.8% DraftKings Boom/17.4% FanDuel Boom

Last night with Embiid, Ben Simmons (personal) and Tobias Harris (health protocols) all out, Korkmaz recorded 29.75 DraftKings points in 39.5 minutes against the Knicks. The 76ers only used an eight-man rotation, and Korkmaz’s minutes total was the second highest on the team. It also set a new season high for Korkmaz, and in the same exact situation tonight against the Bucks he should once again garner a lot of playing time. In the 124 minutes Korkmaz has played without Embiid, Simmons and Harris this season, Korkmaz’s usage has increased 4.1 percentage points and he has provided 1.1 DraftKings points per minute.

Korkmaz should have no issues exceeding 5x value on both DraftKings and FanDuel tonight and is one of strong targets available for this short slate.

Bust: Trae Young: $9,400 DraftKings/$9,500 FanDuel

49.8% DraftKings Bust/62.1% FanDuel Bust

Young is a stud to avoid tonight. He is currently shooting a career-low 31% from beyond the arc and has scored less than 40 DraftKings points in three of his last six starts. Young just competed last night and now will face the Jazz on their home floor. Utah ranks fourth in defensive efficiency this season, and they will be getting Mike Conley back after he rested Sunday. He ranked fourth in real defensive plus/minus among all point guards last season, and Young struggled mightily against the Jazz a year ago, scoring only 31 DraftKings points per game across two matchups.
