NBA Fantasy Projections & Lineup Optimizer Picks Tonight
Boom: Domantas Sabonis: $9,900 DraftKings/$10,000 FanDuel
29.1% DraftKings Boom/24.8% FanDuel Boom
For the second consecutive game, the Pacers will be without a large group of players, most notably Malcolm Brogdon, Caris LeVert and Chris Duarte. In this same situation Sunday against the Cavaliers, Sabonis erupted for a near triple-double of 62.25 DraftKings points. With the Pacers using a very tight rotation, he led the team with 39.4 minutes. Sabonis should approach 40 minutes again tonight against the Knicks, especially with New York only favored by 2.5 points. In the 112 minutes he has played with Brogdon, LeVert and Duarte off the floor this season, Sabonis has supplied 1.32 DraftKings points per minute, mostly attributed to a 5.4-percentage-point upgrade to his assist rate.
Sabonis is vastly underpriced for his upside tonight and is far and away the best value above $9,000 for both DraftKings and FanDuel in Awesemo’s projections.
Boom: Tre Jones: $3,800 DraftKings/$4,100 FanDuel
48.5% DraftKings Boom/43% FanDuel Boom
With Dejounte Murray, Lonnie Walker and Doug McDermott unavailable Saturday due to health protocols, Jones earned the first start of his career and delivered 27.75 DraftKings points in a career-high 32.1 minutes against the Pistons. All three of those players will remain sidelined Tuesday and when they have been off the court this season, Jones has generated 0.91 DraftKings points per minute. He should handle around 30 minutes tonight, and this is a plus spot with Toronto ranking 21st in defensive efficiency. Furthermore, this game’s total is the second highest on the slate (224.5 points).
Jones is averaging 29.6 DraftKings points per game when given at least 20 minutes this season, and he has the No. 1 player boom score on the slate for both DraftKings and FanDuel in Awesemo’s Boom/Bust Tool.

Boom: LeBron James: $11,400 DraftKings/$11,400 FanDuel
22.1% DraftKings Boom/23.8% FanDuel Boom
Tonight James is well worth his lucrative price tags against the Kings. First off, Anthony Davis (knee) will remain sidelined, and when has been inactive this season, James has 64.5 DraftKings points per game. He provides 1.6 DraftKings points per minute with Davis off the court this season. As for this matchup, the Kings rank 26th in defensive efficiency and fourth in pace. In this prime spot the Lakers boast the highest implied team total on the slate (118.25 points), and this game’s total is also the largest on the board (230 points). Plus, James’ props on BetMGM are 30.5 points, 9.5 rebounds and 7.5 assists, which is already 51.75 DraftKings points before bonuses and defensive stats. According to Awesemo’s Boom/Bust Tool, no player brings a higher ceiling than James this evening.
Boom: Duane Washington Jr.: $4,000 DraftKings/$4,000 FanDuel
28.3% DraftKings Boom/27.4% FanDuel Boom
Washington is another elite value from the depleted Pacers. With Indiana down to nine bodies Sunday against the Cavaliers, Washington started at point and recorded 28.75 DraftKings points across 34.2 minutes. Awesemo is projecting him for 32 minutes tonight against the Knicks, which is more than enough time for him to outperform his cheap price tags. Albeit in a small sample of 48 minutes, Washington posts a 21% usage rate and scores 0.9 DraftKings points per minute with Brogdon, LeVert and Duarte off the court. As a top-three value on the slate in Awesemo’s projections, Washington is an excellent target for both cash-games and GPPs.
