Tuesday delivers a three-game slate, and even with only six teams competing, NBA fantasy lineups on DraftKings and FanDuel will be flush with high-level talent and value plays. The Awesemo NBA Starting Lineups page will provide breaking news when starters are announced as well as a full injury report on players who might be missing in action. Below are some NBA daily fantasy options that stand out for tonight’s slate using Awesemo’s Boom/Bust Tool and NBA DFS projections.
NBA Fantasy Projections & Optimal Lineup Picks Tonight
Boom: Julius Randle: $9,100 DraftKings/$8,700 FanDuel
25% DraftKings Boom/20.4% FanDuel Boom
Ever since Kemba Walker was removed from the Knicks rotation four games ago, Randle has produced 44.6 DraftKings points per game and a 27.5% usage rate. He is scoring 1.3 DraftKings points per minute with Walker off the court. Tonight Randle will be playing way up in pace against the Spurs. This season San Antonio ranks sixth in pace, whereas the Knicks rank 21st. Furthermore, the Spurs are surrendering the ninth-most rebounds and eighth-most points in the paint.
On BetMGM Randle’s props are set at 22.5 points, 9.5 rebounds and 5.5 assists, which is already 40.75 DraftKings points before defensive stats and bonuses. He is rating as one of the best high-end values on the slate, particularly on DraftKings, where Randle’s salary is the lowest it has been in 20 games.
Boom: Derrick White: $6,200 DraftKings/$7,800 FanDuel
15.2% DraftKings Boom/2.7% FanDuel Boom
White struggled last night with only 24.25 DraftKings points, but this was a very difficult matchup against the Suns, who rank second in defensive efficiency. White had been terrific prior to this, contributing 36.3 DraftKings points in 34.2 minutes per game across his previous six starts. On tap for Tuesday is a perfect spot for White to get back on track against the Knicks. While one of the primary reasons they benched Walker was to improve their defense, New York has actually been worse without him, ranking 25th in defensive rating in these past four games. Nonetheless, the Knicks have a weak perimeter defense, and White is rating as a top-10 DraftKings value of the night at only $6,200. At this price tag, White needs 31 DraftKings points to reach 5x value, which is something White has accomplished in five of his last seven games.

Boom: LaMarcus Aldridge: $5,700 DraftKings/$5,600 FanDuel
23.9% DraftKings Boom/25% FanDuel Boom
Since being inserted into the Nets starting lineup, Aldridge has provided 26.9 DraftKings points in 30.8 minutes per game across his last five. This season he is handling a 22.2% usage rate and scoring 1.1 DraftKings points per minute. Heading back to his hometown of Dallas to face the Mavericks, Aldridge and the Nets carry the highest implied team total on the slate (111.5 points). Additionally, Brooklyn is only a 4-point favorite. Dallas ranks 22nd in defensive efficiency, and Aldridge should receive around 30 minutes in this tight spread. In the eight games in which he has cracked the 25-minute mark this season, Aldridge has generated 30.5 DraftKings points per game. For both DraftKings and FanDuel, Aldridge has a top-five boom score on the slate.
Bust: Russell Westbrook: $10,000 DraftKings/$9,500 FanDuel
69.8% DraftKings Bust/71.8% FanDuel Bust
With the Lakers at full strength, Westbrook is not even worth considering at his inflated price tags. In the 11 games that all three of LeBron James, Anthony Davis and Westbrook have been available, the latter has only supplied 42.3 DraftKings points per game. Plus, in the 214 minutes Westbrook has played with these two stars, his usage has plummeted 5.8 percentage points. While Tuesday’s matchup with the Celtics has the highest total on the board (220 points), this is a poor spot for Westbrook.
Boston ranks 10th in defensive efficiency, and facing the elite defense of Marcus Smart is never ideal for opposing point guards. In fact, when these two clubs met three weeks ago, Westbrook finished with only 27.5 DraftKings points, marking his second-lowest output of the season. For both DraftKings and FanDuel, Westbrook has the highest bust score among all players priced above $8,000.
