Last night we had a seven-game NBA daily fantasy basketball slate with plenty of value options again.  The main DraftKings GPP was called the NBA $500K Pull Up Jumper ($100,000 to first, $10 to enter). NBA Daily Fantasy DraftKings GPP Lineup Review | Feb. 9

In this NBA DraftKings GPP, there were 58,823 total entries from 20,434 different DFS players, 3,163 (15.5%) of which made a profit. A total of 84.5% of DFS players who entered this GPP lost money.

The Winner

Congratulations to mh-mz, who won this GPP with a score of 369.25. The winning lineup used $49,600 salary and had a cumulative team ownership of 116.7%. Mh-mz entered 50 lineups and cashed 20 for an overall profit in this GPP of $101,008. The winning lineup had Josh Hart, of course, who crushed at 1.4% after being downgraded before lock.

Nine of the top 50 finishers used less than $49,700. Team salaries were lower than normal, with a 20% drop in lineups using max salary. Here are the top salaries used last night:

  • $49,600 | 3%

The most popular optimal lineup was played 139 times, using all $50,000 team salary and a cumulative team ownership of 218.1%. It scored 274 and did not cash.

The 150-Maxers

One hundred and four 150-maxers entered 15,600 lineups, making up 26.5% of entries in this tournament. Twenty-one made a profit, while 15 cashed fewer than 20 lineups. One player entered a 150-train, which scored a 258.5 and did not cash.  All told, 150-maxers took fourth, fifth, sixth and 10th place.

The most profitable 150-maxer was dacoltz. He cashed 41 of 150 lineups for a profit of $9,795. His best lineup took fourth place, using all $50,000 salary and a cumulative team ownership of 130.8%.

Boom of the slate goes to Hart, of course. After being downgraded pre-lock, Hart put up 53.75 fantasy points for $4,400 (12.2x) at 1.4% ownership. Bust goes to Dejounte Murray, who crushed on the previous slate. This time, at 36.1% ownership, he provided 14.5 fantasy points for $6,500 (2.2x).

Two hundred and fifty-four lineups were reserved and not played. The lowest-owned lineup that cashed (min-cashed) featured a cumulative team ownership of 30.7%:
