NBA Daily Fantasy Picks: Optimizer & Ownership Projections for DraftKings & FanDuel

There is a small four-game NBA daily fantasy slate today. Despite there only being a few games, plenty of NBA DFS injury news is yet to come out, so be sure to check the Awesemo NBA Starting Lineups page to see who is in, who is out and who is starting as news breaks, and look at the NBA DFS rankings and projections for both DraftKings and FanDuel lineups tonight.

NBA Daily Fantasy Picks: Awesemo Grades | Nov. 23

*Grades are ordered DraftKings, FanDuel. Initial grade indicates a player’s strength of output, with the value grade indicating their strength as a play in relation to their salary.

SG C.J. McCollum — Grades: A, A | Values: B, A

C.J. McCollum is one of the top-ranked players on tonight’s NBA fantasy slate, as he has the second-highest value ranking on FanDuel (3.01). After leading Portland to start the year, McCollum has cooled off as of late. However, his dip in play has also led to a reduced salary, and Awesemo’s rankings clearly think this is the time to buy back in. The ranks also project the Trail Blazers for the highest team total of the night, at 114 points. McCollum has put up some big performances against the Nuggets team, and another one could be coming tonight.

C Ivica Zubac — Grades: C, C | Values: A, A

Ivica Zubac has been a consistent NBA fantasy performer, hitting value in eight of his last 10 games. Despite this, his price has also stayed steady, making him a solid value play for tonight. Fantasy Cruncher lists this matchup against the Mavericks as the easiest on the slate for the center position. It is a rematch of Sunday’s game where Zubac had a 16-point double-double. While Zubac likely will not explode for a massive performance, he should continue to be a reliable play tonight.

SF Evan Fournier — Grades: C, C | Values: A, A

This season has been interesting for Evan Fournier, who started incredibly hot but has cooled off since. His minutes have even dipped into the low 20s, as he has been unable to get shots to drop. However, a matchup with the LeBron James-less Lakers could be exactly what Fournier needs to get back on track. Awesemo projects him to be the team’s third-leading scorer in about 27 minutes tonight.

C Nikola Jokic — Grades: A, A | Values: B, B

Nikola Jokic is pricey, but he could be worth paying up for. Over his past five games, he has averaged 28 points, 13.8 rebounds, 8.4 assists and a block per game. Jokic, however, has missed the past two games due to a wrist injury. He is listed as questionable for tonight, so make sure he is active, but he should perform at a high level if he is on the court. The Awesemo Boom/Bust Tool gives Jokic the highest boom percentage on DraftKings tonight, with a ceiling of over 65 points.
