After a large NBA daily fantasy slate yesterday, there are only three games on the schedule for tonight. There is a bit of NBA DFS injury news yet to come out, so be sure to check the Awesemo NBA Starting Lineups page to see who is in, who is out and who is starting as news breaks, and look at the NBA DFS rankings and projections for both DraftKings and FanDuel lineups tonight.
NBA Daily Fantasy Picks: Awesemo Grades | Nov. 9

C Andre Drummond — Grades: A, A | Values: A, A
Andre Drummond has A grades for both points and value in Awesemo’s rankings today, and for good reason. Joel Embiid has entered health and safety protocol and will miss the game, as will some other 76ers. In the two games without Embiid this season. Drummond has averaged 14 points, 17.5 rebounds, 2.5 steals and 1.5 blocks. His upside is high tonight. He also faces Milwaukee, who has had their issues with interior defense with Brook Lopez out.
PF Bobby Portis — Grades: B, B | Values: A, A
In the same game, Bobby Portis will look to build off a solid performance in which he had a 13-point, 13-rebound double-double to go along with a bunch of defensive stats. Without Embiid and Tobias Harris, the frontcourt for Philadelphia is a shell of themselves. They are less imposing on the offensive end of the floor, so Portis’ defensive deficiencies are less likely to be exposed, meaning he can see high minutes tonight. Awesemo’s Boom/Bust Tool gives Portis a floor of 26 points but a ceiling of about 38 points. Given the role he needs to play for Milwaukee tonight, Portis looks to be a great play.

SG Furkan Korkmaz — Grades: C, C | Values: A, A
Furkan Korkmaz has taken a jump this season, and he has seen a spike in minutes recently as a result of so many 76ers players being out. Korkmaz has played at least 25 minutes in four straight games, and his minutes have gone up each game. This has resulted in him scoring 15 or more points in three of his last four games, and Awesemo projects him to do it yet again tonight. The Bucks are without Khris Middleton, so their perimeter defense is not as strong as it typically is. Look for Korkmaz to take advantage of this in transition tonight.

SG C.J. McCollum — Grades: B, B | Values: A, B
After a poor performance last time out, C.J. McCollum has seen his salary decrease. In fact, he is $900 cheaper on DraftKings than he was two games ago. Take advantage of DraftKings’ pricing tonight, where Awesemo’s projections give him a value of 3.87, the fourth best on the slate. McCollum has seen a usage rate of 25% or higher in every game this season. Simply put, he had an off shooting night last game, going 3-for-15. This included a horrendous 1-for-10 from downtown. Assuming he bounces back to the player he has been the rest of this season, McCollum will be a nice value tonight.
