NBA Daily Fantasy Picks Based on Awesemo Grades & Values | 11/17/21

After a tiny NBA fantasy slate yesterday, there are 11 games on the schedule for tonight. Plenty of NBA DFS injury news is yet to come out, so be sure to check the Awesemo NBA Starting Lineups page to see who is in, who is out and who is starting as news breaks, and look at the NBA DFS rankings and projections for both DraftKings and FanDuel lineups tonight.

NBA Daily Fantasy Picks: Awesemo Grades | Nov. 17

*Grades are ordered DraftKings, FanDuel. Initial grade indicates a player’s strength of output, with the value grade indicating their strength as a play in relation to their salary.

PG Jalen Brunson — Grades: A, A | Values: A, A

With Luka Doncic out tonight with an ankle injury, Awesemo’s Projections list Jalen Brunson as the top overall value on the slate. Brunson has been fantastic for Dallas this season, entering the starting lineup and playing too well to take him off that unit. He has averaged 16.3 points, 4.4 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 0.7 steals per game over his past 10 games. With Doncic out tonight, Brunson’s usage will spike, and he should turn in a great game.

Brunson is hands down one of the top value options on the entire slate, but his teammate, Kristaps Porzingis, will likely get a bump in usage. Adam Strangis wrote about Porzingis’ outlook tonight in his Wednesday NBA DFS Slate Starter.

C Tony Bradley — Grades: C, C | Values: A, A

Nikola Vucevic is out due to health and safety protocols, so Tony Bradley has been thrust into a larger role. In the same scenario last game, he played 27 minutes, putting up 6 points, nine rebounds and an assist. He is priced near minimum on both sites, so it does not take much for him to hit value, and his workload gives him plenty of upside if he blocks a couple of shots. For this reason, Awesemo’s Projections list Bradley as the top value play at the center position at both sites tonight.

PG Damian Lillard — Grades: A, A | Values: C, A

The Awesemo NBA Daily Fantasy Rankings have Damian Lillard as a much better value on FanDuel due to him being $1,100 cheaper than on DraftKings. Think of this pick as a FanDuel exclusive. After beginning the season slowly, Lillard has begun to come alive. He has averaged 24.8 points on 47.1% shooting over his past five games, compared to 17.8 points on 33.7% shooting the rest of the season. Lillard is listed as questionable with an abdominal injury tonight, so make sure he is active. If he is, he should be a solid play, as the Trail Blazers have one of the highest projected totals of the night.

Obviously, C.J. McCollum would be a strong play if Lillard does get ruled out.

C Deandre Ayton — Grades: B, B | Values: B, C

The Awesemo NBA Daily Fantasy Rankings have Deandre Ayton as a much better value on DraftKings tonight since he is a whopping $1,600 cheaper than on FanDuel. This is a massive pricing discrepancy to take advantage of tonight. Ayton made his return from injury last game, putting up a 22-point, 12-rebound double-double. He has a great chance to put up a similar performance against Dallas tonight.
