There is a big nine-game NBA fantasy slate tonight. With that, NBA DFS injury news will be a big part of tonight’s process. Be sure to check the Awesemo NBA Starting Lineups page to see who is in, who is out and who is starting as news breaks, and look at the NBA DFS rankings and projections for both DraftKings and FanDuel lineups tonight.
NBA Daily Fantasy Picks: Awesemo Grades | Dec. 13
*Grades are ordered DraftKings, FanDuel. Initial grade indicates a player’s strength of output, with the value grade indicating their strength as a play in relation to their salary.
PG Spencer Dinwiddie — Grades: C, C | Values: A, A
The price for Spencer Dinwiddie has fallen drastically over the past month, seeing nearly $3,000 cut. With his price so low, there is no doubting he is a nice value play today. On top of that, Kyle Kuzma will be out for the Wizards today. With Kuzma off the floor this season, Dinwiddie sees a 3.9-point usage bump. He also averages a bit over 1 fantasy point per minute with Kuzma off the floor. Awesemo projects Dinwiddie to play 30.5 minutes tonight, so he projects for about 30 NBA fantasy points given his averages this season.
PG Jalen Brunson — Grades: A, B | Values: A, A
Luka Doncic is out once again tonight, which means Jalen Brunson will remain in the starting lineup. He started yesterday, putting up 18 points, nine rebounds and three assists. Brunson has averaged 20.7 points, 6.6 rebounds and 6.3 assists in his seven starts this season. Fantasy Cruncher says this matchup against the Hornets is the third easiest in the NBA to his position, so everything is pointing to a solid performance from Brunson tonight.
C Montrezl Harrell — Grades: C, C | Values: A, A
Again, Kuzma being out for Washington should mean an increase in workload for Montrezl Harrell tonight. It is possible he will slide into the starting role tonight. In three starts this season Harrell has averaged 19 points, 12 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game. Awesemo projects Harrell to be the second-leading scorer for Washington, behind only Bradley Beal. He is also projected to play 24.4 minutes in this game.

SG Tyler Herro — Grades: B, B | Values: B, A
The Heat are beaten up, with Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo and Caleb Martin listed out for tonight. They will need some key players to step up on offense, and Tyler Herro is the biggest one. With those three players off the floor this season, Herro leads the team in usage, at 31.6%. He also averages 1.13 DraftKings points per minute in this scenario. In a matchup with Cleveland tonight, Awesemo projects Herro to lead the team in scoring in over 34 minutes played.
