NBA Daily Fantasy Picks: Awesemo Grades | Dec. 10

*Grades are ordered DraftKings, FanDuel. Initial grade indicates a player’s strength of output, with the value grade indicating their strength as a play in relation to their salary.

SF Miles Bridges — Grades: A, A | Values: A, B

With both LaMelo Ball and Terry Rozier out, Miles Bridges has been asked to step up. Facing the Kings tonight, who are the fifth-worst team in defensive efficiency and third in pace, there is a ton of fantasy potential on the Hornets. Bridges is the only player in Awesemo’s NBA fantasy grades to have an A for both fantasy points and value on DraftKings tonight. He is projected to score over 22 points and grab over seven rebounds tonight.

PG Chris Paul — Grades: A, A | Values: B, A

Devin Booker remains out for the Suns, which puts more of the workload on Chris Paul in the backcourt. With Booker off the floor this season, Paul has seen a 2.2 percentage point usage bump, bringing him to 22.7%. He has also averaged over 1.2 fantasy points per minute in this situation, and Awesemo projects Paul to play 33 minutes against the Celtics tonight. Paul is the only player in Awesemo’s NBA fantasy grades to have an A for both fantasy points and value on FanDuel tonight. He has totaled three double-doubles in his past four games, and another one looks to be on the horizon.

SF Josh Hart — Grades: B, B | Values: A, A

Quietly, Josh Hart has been a solid producer for the Pelicans over his past 10 games, averaging 11.6 points, 7.2 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 1.3 steals per game. Tonight he gets to tee off against the Pistons, who have given up many great fantasy performances this season. According to the Fantasy Cruncher, Hart’s matchup tonight is the fourth easiest in the league for his position. Awesemo’s projections list Hart as the second-best value play on DraftKings tonight.

C Precious Achiuwa — Grades: C, C | Values: B, A

Since the Raptors are one of the first teams to play tonight, there will hopefully be a clearer picture of the status of Precious Achiuwa when the slate locks. He did miss the last game due to shoulder tendinitis, but if he plays, he looks to be a solid play. Both Khem Birch and O.G. Anunoby are out tonight, which leads to a large role for Achiuwa tonight. Awesemo projects him to play 31.2 minutes and be one of the top overall value plays on both sites.
