Welcome back, everyone. For Tuesday night, there are only two NBA games to attack, and below are some of my favorite NBA daily fantasy picks for both FanDuel and DraftKings based on Awesemo’s grades and values.

NBA Daily Fantasy Picks: Awesemo Grades | Jan. 19
Center: Nikola Jokic
DraftKings Grades: A, Values: B
FanDuel Grades: A, Values: B
With only two games on the schedule, it’s hard to imagine building a lineup without Jokic tonight. Per Awesemo’s projections, the center currently presents the highest raw projection of the night by nearly 20 fantasy points, and he is rating as a top-five point-per-dollar value on both DraftKings and FanDuel. In his last start, Jokic produced 72 DraftKings points across 40 minutes against the Jazz. He was one assist away from his third consecutive triple-double, and the 25-year-old is now amassing 67.8 DraftKings points per game in his last three.
Plus, the Nuggets will be in a friendly home matchup against the Thunder, who will be without their starting center Al Horford (personal) for the third straight contest. With the veteran away from the team, Oklahoma City has rated as the fourth-worst defense in the NBA. Jokic has scored over 10 more fantasy points per game at home this season compared to when he has on the road, and Vegas is expecting a very successful outing from the superstar. He is slated for a triple-double of 25 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists based on his Vegas props, which is 56.75 DraftKings points for Jokic before defensive stats are attributed.
Projected NBA DFS ownership projection: DraftKings 62.5% FanDuel 66.1%

Power Forward: Kenrich Williams
DraftKings Grades: E, Values: E
FanDuel Grades: E, Values: E
In the Thunder’s overtime win over the Bulls this past Friday, it was Williams who the team relied on as their main power forward, not starter Darius Bazley. They both saw 27 total minutes for the game, but Williams outpaced Bazley 13.7 minutes to 10.8 in the second half, including all five minutes of the overtime period. This wasn’t a product of foul trouble for Bazley, with the forward only picking up two fouls for the game, and it simply appeared to be a change in plans for this Thunder coaching staff. After a hot start to the season, Bazley has really struggled, averaging only 17.8 DraftKings points per game in his past five. He has shot an ugly 26% from the field and supplied a terrible 0.6 DraftKings points per minute during this time, in comparison to Williams’ 90% field goal percentage and 1.27 DraftKings points per minute in these last two without Horford.
Obviously the floor is very shaky for Williams, but there is a legitimate chance that he will end up logging more minutes than Bazley tonight at nearly half the cost on both DraftKings and FanDuel. If this was a normal-sized slate, this situation would most likely be irrelevant, but with only four teams in action, throwing a dart with the inexpensive Williams makes a ton of sense.
Projected NBA DFS ownership projection: DraftKings 4.4% FanDuel 5.3%
Point Guard: Jamal Murray
DraftKings Grades: B, Values: C
FanDuel Grades: B, Values: C
Murray is fresh off back-to-back showings of over 40 fantasy points, and we have seen him become more aggressive as of late. After a strange four-game stretch where Murray only averaged a low usage of 17.8%, the point guard has seen a 28.6% usage rate across his last three. Murray has now received a usage rate of at least 25% in seven games this season and is contributing 40.5 DraftKings points per game on those occasions.
If they continue to feed him tonight, the 23-year-old should have zero issues beating his price tags on both DraftKings and FanDuel. As previously mentioned, the Thunder are a mess defensively right now, and just like with Jokic, Murray has been far more productive at home this season, scoring 6.2 more DraftKings points per game in Denver. Lastly, it’s worth mentioning that Jokic and Murray have positively correlated this season. In the five contests that Murray has topped 40 fantasy points this year, Jokic is supplying 60.5 DraftKings points per game, and I love stacking the two Nuggets stars in lineups on Tuesday.
Projected NBA DFS ownership projection: DraftKings 30.9% FanDuel 39.3%
